Great Caesar's ghost! These things are ginormous! Separate the scissors and you've got two small swords! My wife just took a look at the picture and ordered them, not knowing that they're probably illegal in some countries. Good thing we're in Texas. The markings on them say they were made in Pakistan, they look like they were Precision ground by hand, and I can vouch for the fact that they are extremely sharp and the quality is top-notch. It doesn't look like the steel was hardened so I don't know what kind of edge they will keep, but for $13, these scissors are a great deal. Clearly I won't be using these to trim any hair. I'll be keeping these bad boys in a gun safe.

Very sharp and you will MOST DEFINITELY be impressed by the size of these! Not that cumbersome as it looks and definitely goes through fabric no problem *have to update, good scissors poor durability fell on a concrete floor an snapped both handles clean off the are some kind of carbide for sure if that’s the case

I ordered these scissors to cut through new insulation batting in my attic. And they definitely do the job rather well. My 8 inch scissors just could not handle the job. These big scissors have a great grip and fit my hand well. It doesn't take long to cut through eight inch thick fiberglass insulation. Of course, I try to compress the insulation somewhat to make it fit inside the jaws of these big scissors. I think the actual cutting length is about 8 inches. The 12 inch measurement is the total length of the scissors including the handles.

First off, JW Rodgers, the seller, delivered this product well before the promised date. I wasn't expecting it until well after christmas and it arrived two days before! Now, about the scissors: very well made and very heavy duty. I bought these for the "depth of cut" and was surprised at how big they are. This is a pretty heavy set of scissors, so be prepared for the heft. Since this item wasn't eligible for Amazon Prime, I had to pay shipping. but even with the shipping charges, these came in at under 15 bucks and, based upon what I got, I could easily see these costing much more.

These scissors are amazing for cutting fabric. The handle fits your hand comfortably The only issue I have is the weight of the scissors for using it for an extended period of time. The length of the scissors makes it easy to follow a marked line for cutting/ shearing fabric.

The "sealed" plastic package I received had already been opened. I slit had been cut in the pouch so the scissors could be removed. After the scissors were reinserted into the plastic package, clear tape was applied over where it was cut. The scissors themselves showed prior usage including smudges on the blades and dirt of some unidentifiable source. I hate getting used merchandise when I paid for new, don't you?

The product received is awful. It is a cheap product for Pakistan. Not from US as promised. Even though they have better product on Pakistan.
