this unit did not fix my problems

Fit my 2001 2500hd no problems. Old window switches had illumination go out (about 4 or 5 years ago) . I didn't want to open the stock switches and replace bulbs. I also replaced mirror switch assembly also. It was getting real finicky and wouldn't always move mirrors and illumination also had gone out. Easy 20 min job.

When rolling up the window it does not go in one fluid motion it goes up and stops and then goes up and stops and then goes up and stops. I hope it switched at least lasts.

It worked and was easy to install

The first switch I ordered came and I installed it and everything worked fine except the drivers side window would not roll down r up all the way. It would move a few inches then stop. I would habe to release the button and push it again for it to move a few more inches and repeat this process several times until the window was all the way up or down. They sent me a replacement switch. The replacement was slightly better but still defective with the same problem. It would only stop once half through on the way down but still stop multiple times on the way up. Again havi g to release button and push and hold again for the window to continue. The customer service representative for amazon informed me that this is a common problem. With this switch. The return was easy and hassle free. I got a refund after the second switch I received was defective I am now going to buy a different brand of switch.

Drop-in replacement, talk about 5 minutes to replace work perfectly. A little bit stiffer than OEM, but for the price I'm not complaining

Is was an easy install. The switch was indeed burnt out and this was a sufficient replacement. Thank you.
