NiteRiderPro 2200 Race Rechargeable Headlight

It looks like moisture from some rain got into the head unit and killed it, not a particularly heavy rain either.Updated 7/31/19 5 ⭐️Well my first light crapped out on me, luckily at the end of my ride. Amazon & Vendor had an exchange back to me in 2 days so didn’t have to miss a night workout. No problems with new unit still think 5 stars is appropriate.Just finished my first century ride of 6hrs, I rode 4.5hr with this light on the lowest setting. I disagree with previous reviewer about this being overkill for road bikes, especially if you tend toward longer distances at night. I like it so much I bought a second for my bike in another state. HIGHLY recommend!

I've had this 18 months. I use this to see and be seen when I inline speed skate in my neighborhood. I use the highest setting so I can see road conditions and be seen. I skate about 80 minutes and the battery last the whole time. The light is attached to my helmet and the battery is in my hydration pack. I divert my light when cars pass because it is bright enough to blind them. The only complaint I have is once I forgot to charge it and there is no graceful response to low battery; the light simply fails. I was left in the dark to make it out in the dark. Otherwise I like the light. I need it bright and light weight; this is both.

This thing Rocks. Super bright for 3+hours on anything but the brightest setting (which is only need for technical routes) and waterproof, rock solid on the bars. Yes, it’s expensive but if you ride after sunset and need to see the road ( not just let on coming traffic see you) then this is it. Except for touring & Gravel rides / I’d say this is overkill for road bikers

The light itself is compact and very powerful. i have used it on my bike as well as a headlamp with the available head-strap. The battery stays super secure on the bike frame, especially compared to my old bike light, and is very powerful for how compact it is. the gauge on the unit is super helpful as well. overall a fantastic light with well thought out parts and accessories.

Amazing customer service. Quality product. Don’t love the design of the helmet mount, is it doesn’t solidly “click” into the different positions as I think it should and sometimes gets jostled a tad to move it out of a set position. Not a huge problem though, and I love the product.

Love it use it all time for biking at night . Had to get the 8 cell battery. 4 cell only last me like a hour and a half .
