I like this a lot more than I expected.
I like an electric skillet because it has a thermostat. You set the temperature and that's what you get. We used to have a large one to prepare meals for the entire family, but now it is just the two of us and the old larger one that you had to wash by had didn't get used. So, I purchased this one.I like that it was smaller, and you could put it in a dishwasher, and it has the temperature thermostat. But, after I ordered it, I got to thinking that it may be too small to be practical, so I waited a long time before opening it because I was thinking of sending it back.I short, I decided to keep it, and I am very glad I did. There are a lot of things I like about it. It seems to be made very well, not flimsy or cheap fealing. While it thought it might be too small, it's not. I find it to be larger than I thought it would be, but not big. Just right. If you find it too small, then you really wanted a big electric skillet to start with.I also like the way the electrics hooks to the pan, and it has a trigger release for easy detachment. Why? If you have a pan of hot food, oil, sauce, or such, you don't want to be yanking on the cord to detach it and slosh burning lava everywhere. A simple squeeze and it comes off.Of course, dishwasher safe is nice, but the non-stick and its size makes it so easy to clean. We have used it several times and haven't need too. I wipe with a soapy rag, a quick rinse, and a wipe and back in the cabinet until next time.

Great Little Skillet
I purchased this after seeing it in a QVC ad. I thought it might be just the thing for travel, camper or cabin. I've used it almost daily for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. I've cooked fried, scrambled and omelet eggs; grilled sandwiches, fajitas, quesadillas, crab cakes, heating tortillas.... You get the idea. You need to wrap your head around the simple on/off...no temperature adjustment. But I found my sweet spot to cook absolutely everything and didn't burn anything. The lid is really helpful and I don't think I would find this little gem as versatile as I do without it.As for clean up, it's definitely not submersible but I simply wiped it out with paper towel first, a soapy sponge wrung out next, and finished it off with a spray from my vinegar & water bottle. Clean as a whistle (what does that mean, really...)Hope this is helpful to you.

Good unit, but could be improved to be really great
I like that the unit is small and compact and delivers consistent heat. The teflon surface is easy to clean and a simple on/off switch with built in light shows the status. There is no need to set a temperature, the unit does it by itself. The things I do not like are that for one, the unit is unstable when being used. It has three small round rubber button legs that it sits on and they allow the unit to wobble and tip when you use a spatula to move your food and put slight pressure on the cooking surface. Several times during use the unit tilted and that is very annoying when you are trying to scoop your food. I understand that 3 legs make thins 'stable' on uneven surfaces, but these 3 legs are too far inside and the unit is unstable because it has 3 legs only. I will be adding additional legs to fix the tipping issue. Next, the raised lettering within the cooking area MAX OIL catch and shred the paper towel or sponge when wiping it while food and grease remains stuck inside and between the letters. It takes some effort to just clean the MAX OIL letter area. Finally the winding system for the power cord storage is very badly laid out. The way the cord comes out of the unit makes it get in its own way and it is not possible to cleanly wrap the cord into the storage at the bottom without putting a very sharp kink into the cord which is unsafe. Fix those 3 issues and this will be a fantastic little electric griddle cooker.

Great little electric skillet for quick meals
I bought the Elite Gourmet Pan because I wanted something small and convenient for quick meals without having to fire up the stove. After using it for a while, I have to say—it’s a pretty handy little appliance! What I Love:🔴 Heats Up Fast & Cooks Evenly – I was surprised at how quickly this thing gets hot. Within a minute or two, it’s ready to go. I’ve used it for stir-fries, scrambled eggs, and even a quick grilled cheese, and everything cooks evenly.🔴 Perfect for Small Meals – Since I usually cook for just myself, the size is actually perfect. It’s great for one serving of veggies, eggs, or a small stir-fry without needing a full-sized pan.🔴 Easy Cleanup – The non-stick surface works well, and I barely have to do any scrubbing. A quick wipe with a paper towel or a rinse with soapy water, and it’s clean.🔴 Doesn’t Take Up Much Space – I love that it’s small enough to store easily. I don’t have much counter space, so this is a huge plus! What Could Be Better:⚠️ No Temperature Control – It gets hot quickly, but there’s no way to adjust the temperature, which means I have to watch my food closely to avoid overcooking.Final Thoughts:Overall, I really like this little electric skillet. It’s great for quick meals, especially when I don’t feel like using the stove. If you’re cooking for just yourself and need something compact, easy to clean, and fast-heating, this is definitely worth considering.

Just right for one person
I thought it would help me a lot since my cook just for me. And it does more than I expected. First try was making chicken fajitas. Cooked the chicken so fast and left enough space in it that I was able to add in the peppers and onions to the way I like them. Next was broccoli beef. Truly delicious and faster than using my regular stove. I’ve made fried potatoes with sausage and got the right crunch on the potatoes. Never got sticky and never felt threatened with the temperature. Pretty much the same feeling as cooking in the stove. The lid was just fine and seemed to have enough space to allow a little bit of moisture out. The cleaning it up was so easy. Just used a wet paper towel first and followed with a warm no soap dishcloth. I feel like this will last for a long time for my needs. I also plan on having it in a place that I can get it fast for any fire evacuation along with my trusty coffee maker
