Great value, a natural multivitamin
This is great! I made about 16 jars of sea moss gel in various flavors (rose strawberry, lavender, ginger orange, plain), and I add 2tbsp to my morning smoothie. I see little $30 jars of sea moss gel and I feel like mine are probably better and so much cheaper. This product is amazing value!I first blended to a 1:1 ratio of soaked moss:water and this was too gritty for me, when I adjusted this to 1:3 moss:water, it came out really nice and creamy.

Wild Crafted Sea Moss
The media could not be loaded. Update: I made a batch from this product and it's fantastic! I used maybe a 5th of the amount from the bag and got 24oz! Instead of soaking it for 36 hours as instructed, I soaked for 48 hours. Then I blended it and added maybe a 1 1/2 cup water. The taste isn't bad, it taste just like it smells, but you can just take a spoon full and swallow it and the taste doesn't last long. I've been using it and so has my dog, and it's been a game changer! My dog is almost 15, and she's been feeling much better. I'm very happy with this! I use the water I soaked it in as a toner, and it's great! Keep it refrigerated after making. Do not refrigerate the dry product.I shopped around and did a lot of research before buying. It smells fresh, is easy to make, texture it nice, has great nutritional and health benefits, and it even has recipes on the back of it! I posted a video so you can see for yourself. It's a great amount for the price, it is what is says it is, and has the instructions on how to make sea moss gel on the back. I also plan on using this for my skin because of all the benefits!

Don't Be Discouraged
I'll start with my actual review and then get into the real purpose of me writing this review afterward. This is high quality real deal sea moss, straight from the ocean. This is my first time purchasing/trying sea moss and can tell how good it is already, based on what I've learned through others. I received my product in a nice resealable package that burst with the essence of the ocean when I opened it. I rinsed it in the sink and then proceeded to soak it in purified water with a squeezed lemon (didn't have any lime around). The next day, I checked on it and it certainly grew in size. I was at first discouraged by what one guide to making the gel said: that the moss should be soft and gelatin-like and break apart in your hand. Mine was still pretty sturdy, but was certainly soft to the touch, like you'd expect a soaked vegetable to feel. I proceeded to push forward regardless as I realized beforehand that there is some level of almost "elitism" it feels like, in terms of what sea moss should and shouldn't be. I threw it in the blender and poured in the water I had it soaking in til I felt it was at a similar level to the guide I was following and got ta' blendin'. After a couple minutes, I turned it off and checked it out. The consistency was all wrong, like water but with a bunch of ramen noodles floating around. So I kept on blending and it thickened up to a grainy texture relatively quickly. I noticed it was only blending the bottom portion of the moss, the top half was sitting there like a still lake and all the reviews questioning the quality of the product started to flash before my eyes as I started to agree with them. But then I put on my thinking cap and added more water, shook it up a bit to get the water down there, and started the blender again. It all started flowing like a whirlpool once again and after a minute or so, I saw that creamy yellow consistency I was looking for. I added a tad more water and blended further after that to try and get rid of the tiny bits of grain left in my otherwise perfectly smooth gel, which I was successful at. Now I'm left with some beautifully smooth and nutritious sea moss gel. When they say a little goes a long way, they weren't kidding. I took maybe an ounce or so of my 8 ounce bag and it made 3 cups of sea moss gel. This makes me much more comfortable shelling out more money for multicolored/strained sea moss so I can explore how those benefit me in contrast to this classic golden moss.I wrote this review because so many other reviews made me doubt my purchase and question whether I made the right choice, but in the end I was left extremely happy with my purchase. Ignore the reviews that question the authenticity and/or quality of this product. "It looks like noodles" it's supposed to. No two plants grow exactly alike. There are many many different strains of sea moss. "It's grainy, this is plastic!" Try adding more water and blending more and watch how quickly that "plastic" melts away. Any further doubts, you should direct yourself to their YouTube channel and you can see the source itself. This is a great company with great product at a great price. Nothing but greatness here.

Real Deal
The media could not be loaded. Packaging: It was packaged nicely (like typical sea moss pakages are) with a see-through window in the front as pictured.Initial Inspection: It was not overly salty or sandy and there was definitely an ocean-like/sea-like smell upon opening the bag, but it was not overwhelming. It did not smell like bleach, chlorine or any chemicals whatsoever and it was amber in color, which is indicative of it being wildcrafted. It was not crunchy but very dry and no moisture was present. So far so good!Soaking: I DID NOT BOIL MINE! I let it soak overnight, approximately two to three ounces. When I tell you it more than doubled in size, please believe me! I had to tranfer it to a larger soaking bowl. Though it did not "melt" when I squeezed the strands, it was very soft and jelly-like after soaking.Blending: Before blending, (tip) I used kitchen scissors to cut the moss into smaller strands to prevent them being caught in the blender and causing it to overwork. I added the cut up sea moss to the blender and then added the water in which it soaked. It blended smoothly into a consistent paste with no absolutely no lumps.Storage: From the two to three ounces, I was able to fill two 16oz mason jars and one 8oz container! Talk about bang for your buck! I stored them in the refrigerator and they formed a perfect gel.Quality: I waited to give the review because although the preparation was easy, I wanted to be sure I FELT the true benefits based on CONSUMPTION since this is my first time trying this seller. I absolutely do. I hope the product never changes because I am sold on this one! Sea moss for life.

Wonderful product and affordable
This is my first time making my own sea moss gel and thankfully, this came with the instructions. The quality is there and this sea moss is affordable too; no space for air as they give you a lot of sea moss, so I won't have to purchase this much.
