Awesome for the size
My trans am convertible now sounds like a powerhouse after replacing the rear speakers with these. This car is challenging due to the mere 2" of depth available. Ignore reviews that say these speakers sound like farts or buzzing bees. Those people probably didn't install correctly.

Better than BMW 2 ohm
I bought Focals for the doors and replaced my 676 HiFi amp with the Match up7BMW.I am not a basshead but these do kick the punch and are more defined than the stock speaks.Work great in my E84, X1

Great upgrade
They’re not mind blowing upgrades but they definitely are much better than the original ones. Much better reverberating bass and thumping bass. Better register and pretty clear. Be careful cause you do have to remove the top protector so stuff if in the floorboard will roll onto them sometimes, coins and paper are the worst lol. Other than that great.

Work best with an aftermarket amp
These things are a definite upgrade from the weak stock subs I had in my E60 hifi system. I run them from an aftermarket amp and they give good clean crisp bass. They aren't going to set off any car alarms in the neighborhood when you drive by but I was going for a set up that stimulates my home studio set up and these worked out perfect for what I was looking for.

More bass than I expected
I installed thes in my 2014 428i. I wanted some "mid-bass" since my 4's don't handle bass well, and I wanted something to handle notes above what my 12" sub does. It is a case of good news, bad news. The good news is that the 2 ohm's handle a lot of bass and easily play low, low notes. The "bad news" is that they could have made my 12" unnecessary. If your 8's aren't working and your taste is lower bass get the 2ohms, pair them with an amp, and do not put the grill cover back on. They can and do, shake the car way more than I expected. If you like a bit less, maybe enjoy an acoustic guitar solo, the 4ohm might be for you. By the way, I installed them myself without the additional amp, and it sounded like they weren't there. Get a decent amp in the first place.

Great For The Money
Dropped these into my BMW G30 5-Series as drop-in replacements, being driven by the stock hi-fi system. Big upgrade from stock, well worth the money. I waited too long to do this, should have been one of my first changes. Nice mid-bass kick, sounds like it should have all along. I may add a dedicated sun later on, but enjoying these very much for now.

Perfect fitment, but that's the only pro
I should start off with saying that I bought the car with the Logic 7 amp not functioning and foolishly jumped on these as one of the first items upgraded even before getting the amp back online. That means I can't compare them to the original Harmon subs that originally came with the car, however even without a baseline comparison I am disappointed so far. They definitely add something, it's just not what I expected from 2 8" subs mounted so close to the listening position though. I imagine the mass of the comfort package seats in a 7 series don't help... But still

Amazing for my BMW F30
Replaced a pair of Jehnert speakers with these and must say they are much better for my taste in music.If you like low end bass then these are for you, this is exactly what the Jehnerts lacked for me.I drive these at full power from an external amp and they’re great, but make sure you have an amp powerful enough to do so otherwise they may not be as loud as you’d like.Quality is great, the adapter rings having a foam surface is a nice touch also and the speaker wire pass through terminals is really helpful.

Great deep base. Easy to install.
I wish terminals were bigger to get thick bmw wires in, a little bit hard to stick the wire in. Almost no mid range base.

Drop fit into a BMW underseat spot that they were made for and very well .
There are lots of speakers out there made to fit in the floor under the seats of a BMW . I’ve researched very carefully and please take my word for it the Earthquake Subwoofer Speaker System is by far the best set of speakers out there . The quality and sound is breathtaking but more important the company that sells them is about the best company I have ever dealt with . When I bough my 8” Earthquake Speaker there was an ring adaptor available to make them pretty much plug and play when installing in a BMW . So I bought the rings but to my surprise a set actually came with the speakers !!I contacted the company and they actually refunded my money BEFORE I EVEN SHIPPED THEM BACK !! Find another company with that kind of customer service . More companies need to learn customer service from them !! Life long Customer !!!
