Use of product
This self tapping screw is difficult to tap in and initiate screwing it. Disappointed in this as I believed that being able to tap to start would make the job easier. I ended up pre-drilling holes in order to screw it in. Not impressed.

Great screws, and a good case to boot
This includes a great variety of screws that allow you to use the right length and size. I'd highly recommend this to get and have handy for many upcoming house hold jobs

Didn't work for me.
I bought the screws for an HVAC duct project, but ended up returning them because they were very difficult to use. They would not stay in the hex adapter and were almost impossible to get started without a pilot hole to keep the tip in place. It almost seemed as if the screw heads were too small for the screw to stay securely in the holder, so they were wobbling and popping out very easily. Since most reviews are very positive, I wonder if mine may have come from a bad batch.

does as it should

Near perfect
The only gripe I have about this is that it would seem to be a serious pain to connect large wire to it. I am using 4 gauge and I didnt even try. Instead, I used a 'hot-in-run' spare fuse to run a wire to it, using it as a switch to a larger "dumb" relay. works great so far.

Would be better if magnetic
Like the variety of sizes and use on everything, just need magnetic bit to hold them on your drill

Great assortment of quality screws, as long as they are what you know you want.
The price is honestly hard to beat. As some have previously mentioned, you should expect stainless steel to be more brittle than normal mild or Grade 5/Grade 8 fastening hardware. What does this mean? You should not expect a 2" screw to self-tap into 2" of steel. These are self-DRILLING screws, which are different than self-TAPPING screws. At first I was concerned that the drill spade was too wide for the screw. But I secured a number of e-tracks straight into the steel walls of a trailer with no issues. I wish they came in a self-tapping version instead of a self-drilling version. The washers themselves are more of a rigid plastic, so a trailer use would be a perfect application because the washer has just enough oomph to prevent metal on metal ratting. Either way, if you are close to a bulk fastener distributor, I would go to them first. If you are far in the desert like I am sometimes, it's probably best to just order these.
