Excellent value for the money. They take a little bit more setting up than the big name rivals but once you've got through that, they are ready to use and work well with an Amazon echo. If you have an echo plus, with the hub built in, they work perfectly without the need for a separate hub or gateway.Just a tip, if you are having an issue connecting and receive an error telling you it will only work on a 2.4ghz WiFi network, I found taking the bulb, phone and hub to the opposite end of the house, where I prominently only receive a 2.4ghz signal, helped. I also held the hub within 20cm of the bulb. Also, check you are using the correct app as I assumed the same app worked for both the plug sockets and bulbs and in fact, they are different.

Fitted this smart bulb Feb 2019 with expectation of at lwast 3 years use. November 2019, loss of blue light and by Dec 2019 flickering and total light failure. Very dissapointed especially as the cost for 1 bulb is £27.

It is good however was a bit tricky to set upfor Google Home. (You need to install smart home rather than VTAC

I own a tp-link light and this was probably easier to set up than that. I bought two and installed them simultaneously. All done within 2 minutes and in a group with Alexa. So easy to use as well.

You can brighten up or fade out from your phone easy to use xxx

I did have to mess around with this used smart life app. Once set up really good

Great working light, easy to install, set timers etc. Have it working on Google home
