We got this as one of our daughters Christmas gifts. The main reason that I have rated it 3 stars instead of a 4 is the price of the toy. I just have a difficult time paying for plastic, even though that is what most things are made of these days. My daughter however really likes playing with it and time will tell if some of the smaller pieces will hold up for an extended time. This is a large toy and takes up a little more room than I initially thought but that does allow for more things to be included with the camper. Since my daughter is just now getting old enough to enjoy playing with Barbies we thought that this would be a fun thing for her. She really likes to get her mother's old Barbies out and go camping with them.You really don't have many plastic parts to put together but there are a LOT of decals/stickers to apply inside and outside of the camper. They do make it look good but some of them were a little small for my fingers to apply and a couple of the small ones are a little crooked but my daughter does not care about those little things. She just like to play and pretend they are camping in all kind of interesting places.

This is my first large Barbie purchase. My daughter wanted this after discovering the cartoon Barbie: Life in the Dreanhouse on Netflix. The price is a little insane, (I paid $75) but that seemed like a steal compared to the $90 they were asking in stores. For that price I would think it would come with at least 1 Barbie, but sadly no dolls are included. It is quite impressive. The bathroom pulls out, it includes a shower and toilet. 2 bunkbeds and 1 large bed. The beds fold up to be a sitting area. It comes with a fire pit, chandelier, blankets, small food accessories, chairs, a pool that pulls out, and more. The directions of where to place the stickers was unclear, but it only took about 15 minutes from opening the box to have it completely done. Some of the stickers are pretty small, and need to fit in tiny places (the cut out in the bathroom for the shampoo bottle is tiny). There is no way my husbands large hands could have done that. I bought the Barbie & sisters camping tent set that comes with 4 dolls to go with this. I would definitely recommend buying at least 1 doll for the lucky girl that gets this.

This is a perfect gift for girls that love their barbies. Now if the makers of Barbie would just make the Barbies a little more bendable so they can actually sit on the chairs etc. and sit in this hot tub comfortably! I remember as a child, my first Barbie didn't bend at the knees.. they do now, but it's still not enough to get the doll to sit on the chairs and stay. However, this camper is adorable. Took about an hour or so to set up. Wasn't expecting it on Christmas Eve.. Thank goodness I had extra help. Not to take away from this camper, but my granddaughters also received a camper that was bought at Walmart. It made sounds. Didn't have everything this did, but for the price, it was great too. This would be even better if it made any noises at all. There is a little difficulty closing it all back up to drive.So I don't think it would be good for under 5.

My girls, 4 and 7, love this Camper. It comes without any dolls so I bought a Barbie sisters set to go along with this. This was a joint Christmas gift for my girls, they didn't ask for it and yet they adore it more than anything else they got. I got it on a really good sale, more than half off, so it was a good value. Easy to assemble and my girls did most of the sticker decorating on their own. As other reviewers have noted its the small touches that make the difference for little kids to use it & put it to good use - food, dishes and glasses that snap into the table tops, the stove and oven racks, handles on the marshmallow sticks for the Barbies to hold, etc.

I love barbie because I never was able to have her when I was kid, she was too expensive for my parents to afford. So, I have a blast buying and playing with her with my 4 year old daughter. Very happy with the camper but just like all barbie toys it comes I a thousand pieces, so make sure you have the time and patience to put it together BEFORE you take it out of the box, because if you lose a piece it will never be the same. The reason I give it 4 stars is just because Mattel needs to make barbie stuff a little bit more quality,,, especially for the price... Always end up with little broken pieces.... Super glue is a definite accessory for Barbie.

My 5 yo daughter wanted a doll house for Christmas but we bought her this because we don't have room for a doll house. This has a pretty big footprint (especially when opened), but she loves it. There are a lot of stickers if you are assembling it but otherwise it's pretty easy. The car detaches, which she loves and the hot tub stands alone making it easy to fill with water. She always needs help getting it all back together and there are quite a few small pieces, but it made a great gift.

This thing is MASSIVE!!! I knew it was big but you don't really understand until you hold it. I got it half off on Black Friday and I was leary about spending $50 for it, but I'm glad I did. It was very much worth it. The girls haven't even opened it yet, but I know they are going to absolutely love it. I even wanted to open it!

Put this together without too much trouble. However, the website said it took AAA batteries and made flushing sounds, cricket chirpings and coffee grinding noises. We could not find a place for batteries and there are no sounds from any of the above mentioned appliances. Perhaps our son-in-law will discover the installation place for the batteries on Christmas morning. It's a fun toy, but barely clears the ground when rolling. Seriously, barely 1/4 inch.
