The filters fit (there are 2 due to the restricted access in the filter compartment, confession I do not have a restricted clearance so this might be unauthorized). The charcoal filters are gray since they are charcoal. I do not think you can use these for BBQ and it would probably be prohibitively expensive anyway. The rub comes when a filter comes gray when it's new, is it really new? I trust Amazon and you should too, but, I still wonder late at night- maybe. Well that's neither here nor there. I don't recommend going to the big box store and looking for these filters. They usually don't fit. It can be pretty embarrassing trying to return a filter and multitasking (returning old oil) and be told it's not oil, but, transmission fluid. I wondered why the truck was acting balky lately. By the side of the road.

Excellent Quality Product
A perfect fit for my truck this cabin air filter was so easy to install and took minutes to complete. The air inside the truck after a short trip was so much better as there was less circulating pollen and dust. Just a great performance after such a short time, excellent product.
