Excellent Battery and Price for the Budget-Conscious
UPDATE: Reduced to one star. Watch would not reconnect to the smartphone IF it disconnected. Have to restart both phone and watch to sync again and that wasn't 100% of the time.I am a bargain-hunter on everything I am looking to purchase. I primarily look at looks of the product first then functionality second. When I saw the EZON T958 on Amazon I immediately thought “Wow! Great looking watch at a great price!” But will it last? Who is EZON? Will the app work? Will syncing information be problematic? These were the questions, and then some, that I thought of prior to purchasing. At $99, which is a cheap comparatively-speaking, I bought one and paired it with My Samsung Note 8.BATTERY LIFE: I’ve had the watch now for 4 days and so far so good. The battery charge out of the box was at 6% (which is good since you never want any product to be at full or near-full charge while in storage). It took about 45-60 minutes to charge it to 100%. It’s at 87% now since disconnecting. On paper the manufacturer claims 30-days battery life on “standby” (in quotes b/c the screen is always on – never goes off). I like that the time, date, steps etc… are always on and is trans reflective – so even the lowest exterior light will show the time. The watch does have a backlight if needed.APPEARANCE/SCREEN: The screen is not touchscreen, but I knew that prior to purchasing. I actually prefer the 5-button control this watch has. To me, the buttons make it look sportier and all have its function (i.e. not faux buttons). The screen does have a stationary bezel. As you can see from the pics, this does lessen the diameter of the functional part of the screen. The screen seems to made of glass – at least that what it sounds like when tapped. There are three watch face options to show the time. One is just the time while the other two show a combination of time, date, steps and/or calories burned. Again, just the basics here – there are no options on the app to download more watch faces. There are other watch faces that show just weather or graphs but it’s not like you would leave the watch on these permanently.SYNCING DATA: The app is called RunnerKit and is downloaded from Google Play. The initial set up went as planned but as the day went on, the watch would not sync with my phone. I persistently saw “Synchronization Failed”. I reinstalled the app and set the watch back to default settings (odd that the watch did not have a ‘reset’ option but I guess the default is that function). The app settings and appearance are very basic – don’t expect the interface of Garmin, Under Armour or any other big name in the fitness and tracking world. One app defect is that Imperial measurements (miles, lbs, feet, inches etc…) do not show despite choosing this as the option. KG, cm, KM still show. I did inform the manufacturer but they’ve not responded… maybe they’ll see this review and react about this defect on their app. The charts showing heart rate and step history are easy to read and understand. As of this review, I’ve not used the exercise nor the GPS functions of the watch yet.OVERALL: The watch took some getting used to but after a couple of days I am really getting over the simplicity of the app and the watch. This after using Garmin and Under Armour fitness trackers for years. Again it’s $99! Appearance-wise, an equivalent Garmin or fitness tracker/smartwatch would be 2 to 3x more. For me, the app and watch do what I need them to do. 4 out of 5 stars.

Good sport watch
Excellent battery life. Charged it once after using for two weeks, it was still at 50%.All functions work as described. I did not measure the accuracy of the data however steps/heart rate/GPS distance all seem to be reasonable. Phone calls display some Chinese characters, but also show the number, it does not bother me.Also distances are metric, not an issue for me either.I had no issues with connectivity with the phone app (Android phone). The app seems to be basic, but I don't use it much.the only thing that could be better is the backlight, it is not very bright. Readability in direct sunlight is excellent.Overall for the money I paid ($79.99) it is a great watch.

Did not work for running races. Could not use it. In reality considered a unworkmanlike item.
Did not work as a Chronograph watch for running races. Could not use it. In reality every running watch that I bought in Amazon that came from China was considered a unworkmanlike item.
