Install this, set it once, and never worry about adjusting breaker points and timing again. All the needed parts are included if and only if you have a mechanical timing advancer. (If you don't, you don't need this).Not difficult to install for someone used to setting points and timing, although gas tank removal was required on my '79 Suzuki for the routing and splicing of one new wire. Instructions are clear.I just put this on a second bike; the first one has been running great for several years. A bit pricey for what you get, but way worth it for eliminating a regular maintenance hassle.

Perfect fit for my GSX1100SD

I put this on my 1979 GS850 along with a set of 3 ohm Dyna Coils. Timing is extremely easy to adjust and it significantly improved the performance of the bike. she hasn't ran like that since I have owned it. Im a fan of points but as long as this seems to hold up and seem reliable I will order more for my next projects.

It's a great product, however the fitment list is incomplete. If you are installing on a bike that had electronic ignition you need to find more parts. To convert over to this unit you need mechanical advance from another bike of same make. Otherwise it'll never mount up. But once installed it runs great.

Works great once you get it wired correctly.The instructions didn't match up exactly to my bike -- wire colors didn't match up as the instructions stated. So be careful that you carefully follow the wires on the ignition to your coils to make sure that you're wiring the right generator to the right coil. The clamp-on splice included doesn't work very well, ended up cutting and splicing.

fairly easy to install best part of all it bypassed the cdi box on my 1980 gs850 with the dyna tek coils..killed 2 birds with one ignition system. thank you it was great to hear that beast run again

This ignition module replaces both the pick up coils and the ignition module in the original Suzuki ignition and works and fits perfectly. It is advertised to be a racing ingition but I do not race so I do not kwow about that but for street use is works perfectly and was moderately easy to install.

Had to return product as amazon shows this to fit my bikes application although Dynatek does not show this information at there site. Some how the see if this fits your model bike is incorrect at the amazon site. I have contacted Dynatek to see if there is a product that will fit my 1983 Suzuki GS 750 ES Model. This is not a bad review of Dynatek product , I was misled by the amazon site information and made my purchase based on that incorrect information.

Works as it should and the installation is straightforward. Dynatek provides clear instructions. This one was installed on a 1979 Suzuki GS850.
