Provides INSTANT RELIEF for Tooth Pain!
Now Foods Clove Oil is an Essential Oil so you know it's 100% pure.Clove oil is very useful for several different things. It's especially useful for relieving tooth & mouth pain.If you like or, don't mind the taste of cloves then, this oil will work incredibly well for you. If you dislike the taste or, even the smell of cloves, I simply can not stress this enough. It would STILL be so worth having this in your medicine cabinet as a stand-by "Emergency Staple" for that possible day when either yourself or someone else is in excruciating pain from a sudden & unexpected dental issue & cannot get to a dentist right away. This product will bring instant relief to a toothache caused by a cavity, absess, extractions, root canal, dry socket, etc. It's very similar to Eugenol, part of the essential oils found in nutmeg that dentists use to pack an open root socket; usually from an extraction. To use Now Foods Clove Oil for tooth or mouth pain, just pour a tiny bit, maybe 5-10 drops into the cap then, dip a Q-tip into it. Place the Q-tip onto gumline of the offending tooth or, around the area in your mouth that is causing you pain. Be careful not to allow the tip of your tongue to touch the oil or it will instantly feel numb or cause. A burning sensation. Also, do not use on any open cuts or sores. The same burning sensation would be intense as a result. Some are more sensitive to cloves than others, so be sure to use only a minimal amount to start. This brand is very potent & works extremely well! I don't even need to use those strong pain killers. Just so long as I have this & a bottle of ibuprophen (for swelling) in my purse! Now Foods Clove Oil also smells wonderful! Mix a few drops with Nutmeg, Cinnamon & Orange oil into a pot of steaming hot water to let it slowly simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Your home will smell like you've just baked an apple pie!Clove oil is great for adding scent to potpouri & Candle making, too!Now FOODS Clove Oil comes in a 1, 2 or a 4oz bottle.

YMMV
I needed an all natural mothball solution for my plastic tub of yarn.this seemed like more bang for my buck than buying ready all-natural anti-moth sachets.so, i doused a few cotton balls in a few drops of: clove, tea tree, and rosemary essential oils, and shoved them into the middle of the yarn box and secured the plastic lid.I didn't have an existing moth problem before this, I still have zero moths... so.... but it's not a carcinogen and it's preventative so i'm going to keep doing it.Meanwhile, I now have a few bottles of essential oils on my desk... and late one night, I grabbed the clove oil and dabbed it behind my ears. Didn't think twice, I'm used to cooking with cloves occasionally but nothing heavy on just cloves, as a seasoning. so, at first, i associate the scent with my kitchen, the spice rack, nothing special...Later, I added some more drops of clove oil to my black shirt collar, nothing major, just a warm lovely scent. Then, I remembered I had bergamot essential oil and some lavender too. I added those to my shirt collar too, and when I was out walking with a friend, they thought I was wearing Aveda perfume. So, now I have two uses for the clove oil, gotta find new uses for the tea tree oil and rosemary oil.

I Totally {{HEART}} Now Foods Clove Essential Oil 4oz Grade: B++; or 4.85-Stars!
The incredibly strong, natural anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties of therapeutic grade Clove (Bud) Essential Oil has powerful anti-bacterial and healing properties and has been used in everything from treating diseases of the skin (eczema/psoriasis/acne, dermatitis of the scalp and body), to use in conjunction with Tea Tree Essential Oil in controlling and eliminating mite pests (dust mites, bed bugs, scabies, even head lice), and oral/dental related issues such as toothaches and gum infections when applied directly to the area on it's own, or when a few drops are added to your favorite antiseptic mouth rinse (like Listerine) and used in combination with Peppermint Essential Oil to aid in alleviating body odor and gassiness issues, and eliminating internal parasites and yeasts. In 2010 the National Center for Biotechnology Information Human Genome/US National Library of Medicine/National Institutes of Health published a study by Australian researchers C. Pasay, et, al, that showed essential clove oil was able to successfully kill mites, etc.The article was published online: the National Center for Biotechnology Information Human Genome/US National Library of Medicine/National Institutes of Health* You can do a Google search to find the article or on the site search: PMC2920318NcbiDOTnlmDOTnihDOTgov/pmc/articles/PMC2920318/additionallyIn 2113, the National Center for Biotechnology Information Human Genome/US National Library of Medicine/National Institutes of Health published a study by F. M. Sakr, et al., that showed use of therapeutic grade Tea Tree Essential Oil combined with Minoxidil and Diclofenal (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) was notably more effective than Minoxidil alone in regrowing hair. You can do a Google search to find the article or on the site search: PMC3686323NcbiDOTnlmDOTnihDOTgov/pmc/articles/PMC3686323/---The unique properties of Clove (Bud) Essential Oil (and similarly Tea Tree, Peppermint, Rosemary) allow it to help other oils and blends that benefit the skin and hair (and hairloss) to function more effectively when included, than when not.The only downside is that essential oils can be a lot more expensive than other oils, but you definitely will save money over time by investing in the larger size bottles when making these types of purchases.Note: For Topical Use Clove Essential Oil can be quite strong, so we recommend trying the Tea Tree Oil on it's own, first and then trying the Tea Tree + Clove blend if the condition persists without noticeable improvement..--Internally:1-2 small drops of Clove Essential Oil + up to 4-5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil.Externally:Traditional Coconut + EO EmulsionTo prepare 6% eo oil blend: place 1tbsp + 1/4 tsp Tea Tree Oil, only in 1-cup Organic unrefined Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil (melted) and apply to face, body and scalp (if hair is very fine apply to scalp at bedtime and rinseout in the mornings) Many ayurvedic therapies successfully involve the use of therapeutic grade essential oils to treat skin disorders and also to kill parasitic mites, etc..6% eo blend (using Tea Tree eo + Clove eo in Coconut Oil)To prepare 6% eo oil blend: place 1tbsp of TeaTree essential oil + 1/4 tsp (up to ½ tsp) Clove Essential Oil in 1-cup Organic unrefined Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil (melted) and apply to face, body and scalp (if hair is very fine apply to scalp at bedtime and rinseout in the mornings).Alternative 6% eo blend (using 100% Pure Grapeseed Oil + Tea Tree eo Emulsion):Note: Most people tolerate Tea tree eo very well, but sometimes the Clove eo can be reactive as well as the Coconut Oil. In this case it is recommended to simply place place 1tbsp + 1/4 tsp (up to1/2tsp) of TeaTree essential oil, only in 1-cup 100% Pure Grapeseed Oil and apply to face, body and scalp (if hair is very fine apply to scalp at bedtime and rinseout in the mornings)..Note: If a stronger (anti-parasitic) blend is required add additional Tea Tree Oil, but if/when adding additional Clove Oil, but be very careful as Clove Essential Oil is 'hot' and too much can burn, so add enough to the point where you will feel warm and aggressively burn the skin parasites, but not enough to blister your skin. Essential Oil blend solution should not exceed more than 8% total essential oil/s per 1-cup of carrier oil in the formulary..And for Day-To-Day Maintenance following use of the 6% EO treatment a less potent dilution of about 1%-3% is recommended that will be just enough to maintain remission, but not so strong as to over stimulate / aggravate the surface of the skin during periods of normalcy/remission.1.5% EO blend -3/4tsp + 1/16tsp Tea Tree Oil added per 1Cup Coconut Oil (or Grapeseed Oil) used for day to day usage.Special notes; Many people suggest that Tea Tree Oil works fine on it's own, most of the studies used 'either' Tea Tree Essential Oil or Clove Essential Oil, so unless specifically treating for bedbugs, and other pests, try the Tea Tree Oil on it's own and wait 2weeks to assess quality of improvement to determine if the additional oomph (or expense) of the Clove Oil is needed...Essential Oils are quite strong, so they need to be diluted with a good carrier oil such as Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oi or Sweet Almond Oill. And if using Tea Tree Oil for acne issues, it's best to add a few drops to 1-2tbsp 100% Witch Hazel (alcohol-free) before spot applying to the skin.Overall, for the medicinal benefits alone, pure Clove Oil is a great buy at almost any price. Our grade: B++; or 4.85-Stars!
