This is a really great item! The kit contains everything you need, and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The wicks are sturdy and come with stickers that keep them in place. The scents are fresh and quite delicious.My friend came over with two granddaughters, and we made the candles together. It was great fun for both the girls and the adults. We really enjoyed the activity and the candles came out beautiful! I would definitely recommend this product.

Decided to do this as a family activity with the teens and it was really fun. The scents they come with are not over powering and do smell great, especially when you light them. The beads do come out fast sometimes or they stick together and can clog up the hole you cut in the bag if its too small. Was really easy to figure out and you really don't need a lot of oil to make these smell good. Dying the wax wasn't too hard but you do have to be careful when pouring the powder as it can rush out of the bag if you tap it too hard. The easiest thing about this kit were the beeswax since all you had to do was roll them. My daughter did rub a little oil inside one of the beeswax and when you light it, there is a light scent that comes off of it but it can be a little messy with the oil. This kit came with everything we needed to make candles and was a lot of fun.

Very easy to use. Taught people DYI on candle making. Set includes everything you need including a special bonus.

Did not receive glue dots or the 2 bonus beeswax candles. Disappointed because of the price I expected better.

It had everything for a beginner if your just starting. It have colorful and detailed instructions so if you have never done it before you can do it. But the only downside I saw was it was difficult to clean out the wax.

I just received my candle kit and was going through everything and I notice the thermometer is broken. I really don’t want to return the whole kit for just a broken thermometer, if you could just replace the thermometer that would be great! Thanks Melanie Carruth

This kit is best for beginners who want to experiment with candle making. The supplies aren't the highest quality but they get the job done. I didn't use any of the fragrances provided, I had my own higher quality one I wanted to use. I liked how this kit has everything you need to make candles from beginning to end, including wax dyes and stirring sticks. I think the weakest part of this kit is the dyes. I used the recommended amount but the next day when I burned a finished candle, the wick got horribly clogged up. I do think it was the dye, so I'll have to try again with some higher quality dye, but overall I think this kit is a great place for a beginner to start.

I bought this kit because I noticed there was a slash in price. I felt like I was getting a good deal. It came in the mail on time. I threw most of it away. I kept the wicks and stir sticks. And the pot and tins. And some of the wax. There was blue powder all over everything. The scents smelled very off..Too much like chemicals. And the thermometer broke in the wax when I checked the temperature. The directions say to heat it to 175 degrees Fahrenheit. It was at 160 so I pulled the thermometer out only to see that it busted in the wax at the tip.This was a waste of money and I would not purchase or recommend this kit.
