Easy for travel or home.
It’s quite pricey but it does work well. And yes you can get clean. I really want to get another one for the shower as we age you can’t reach to well I’m 70 years young and this helps a lot. Just need another one.

Overpriced, ineffective
This is a real disappointment. It's not as easy to use as it seems to be from the instructions, and it is seriously overpriced! I cannot get it to hold toilet paper effectively and have followed the instructions very carefully.I seriously regret getting this... Unfortunately, I stupidly threw out the box in the garbage before taking out the garbage for collection, so the box is long gone and I can no longer return this. So, I'll keep it as a reminder of my carelessness and maybe try it again occasionally.I feel that products like this are priced very expensively because they know they can take advantage of the people who need it.Lastly, i was offended by the biblical quote on the top flap of the box. There is no reason for that and I found it offensive. Religion has no place in commerce, or if it is an accompaniment to a commercial product, it should be specified in the product description.

Really helpful & good product - just need to know how to use it properly
I bought this product because I have a severe back issue where I frequently can't even turn or bend depending on how bad it is each day meaning using the bathroom can be super difficult. I will say that at first I thought this thing wasn't going to work because it didn't seem to hold toilet paper right but I guess I should have read the instructions. It looked simple enough that I would figure it out. Just a little trick with the toilet paper and knowing the grips needed to be all the way in and the freedom wand did work just like its suppose to. It is easy to use after all and I like that I can travel with it too if needed. I would definitely recommend this to someone in a situation like mine where you can't really move well to reach where you need to clean.

Takes a lot of practice
There is video on YouTube that shows best how to use this and it's much better than the paper instructions that come with it. It takes a lot of practice to use properly...don't wait until you actually need it to start. There are other products out there.

It works!
I'm a 66 year old female about to have a hip replacement. I've purchased the raised toilet seat and was looking online for other assistive devices that I might need. I came across this product and thought I'd give it a try. It works for toileting but is not so useful on the butt end. (sorry, being honest) So far, this is all I have tried. In spite of what others have said, I believe it grips firmly. Be sure to watch the online tutorial and also read the pamphlet. Be very careful how you insert the toilet tissue. That is key. So far, so good. I can definitely see how this will be helpful in the very near future.

Does a great job
After shoulder surgery I tried several different devices and this is absolutely the #1 for good design and functionality. Holds on with a good grip to the toilet paper and wipes that we use. Easy to clean and disassemble. Three sections with a carry bag make it easy to pack and transport when traveling.

THE SOLUTION TO AN EMBARRASSING PROBLEM!!
When you get to a certain age or if you have hip or other problems even something essential such as wiping your backside can become a real problem causing twisted muscles and pain. The FreedomWand is (in my opinion) overpriced but it works well and sorts the problem. It is a well designed product that I will not be without. Once you find the best way to use it then you will have a problem well sorted. In my case I count out 5 sheets of soft toilet paper then holding both ends fold it twice. Then open the rubber jaws on the wand and push the middle of the paper into the jaws of the wand and draw the paper in. You now can proceed to clean your backside. When done release the paper from the wand and repeat. I find it takes between 3 and 5 tissue replacements u till the job is done !!!In the final wipes I add a disposable eco friendly wipe to finish the session. However whatever you do to solve your problem, this is a great product which does the job well and is really easy to clean.
