The product is of its description, and is especially helpful that you can both change the heads on it but also adjust the polarity. Very helpful and useful. Bit expensive for what it is.

I bought this when the charger for my laptop broke. As it was an old laptop I thought it would be difficult to find one, but the Amazon Universal power supply had a tip which fitted perfectly as well as 6 other tips which can be used for various other devices. Excellent value for money and would recommend.

Bought this as I thought it met the spec that I needed, being daft I didn't check the output, it drops as you up the wattage.In fact it drops to the point that it's pretty much useless for the two tasks I needed it for.My own mistake for not reading/understanding the description properly.The polarity change is essentially guesswork unless you've got macro vision.It's as solid as any other plug you've had your hands on, the lead is flimsy and the connection works fine.

The lead of a new radio broke at the junction to the socket into the back. The seller said many people had this problem and gave me the link to this. Although one fits the radio doesn't work! Don't know if I have brought the wrong one and I'm totally Bemused. The object itself is obviously well made and the lead much thicker than the one which broke. The box it comes in is very well made and designed, such that the only way to get it out is to destroy itand there is no possibility off sending it back. For those confused as I you cannot use this with another device and swap between the two. On the other hand, my case I may find another device I can use it elsewhere. (Gave it 3 stars as it seemed fair - it may be the radio the problem and this device.

Bought one of these to power a light up globe - this essentially means using it on the 4.5 V setting in the mains socket for something which otherwise requires 3 C size batteries. I had noticed some of the more critical reviews of this previously but on balance they seemed generally positive, so I bought it. The writing is small on the tips but there are symbols to follow so it's quite easy to put them in the right way round. Haven't kept changing the adaptor tips so cannot comment on sturdiness of the design. When using, I didn't get any of the buzzing noises reported by others, and I've noticed that in use it doesn't get very hot. So, so far so good...

It fit purpose I bought it for, the only down side was the connector I've used to connect it to my CTK-496 (casio piano keyboard) feels a bit loose; so it do not stay connected if I move keyboard a little bit. Apart of that it works fine.

I needed a generic charger and thought it would be simple. Look at all the attachments that come with this! Where am I going to store all the other bits I don't need? I would have preferred a simple single-use charger. But, this does the job I wanted.Oh - one tip (from a total DIY failure) there is a switch on the plug itself that you have to move to the right level (5v, 9v, &c). That flummoxed me for an hour or so.

Brought this for a couple of old grandstand games. You cant adjust the voltage slider by hand though. You have to use a pair of tweezers or something to push the slider along. But it works.
