If you are willing to overlook the flimsy cheap switch for the fan that doesn't work properly and the bad usb port alignment, then this might be right up your alley. It is not worth the price this is going for. Returning and getting another one with the same switch and misaligned ports is just not worth the trouble, so why bother. The positive is the stand is sturdy, feels solid buts that’s as far as I will go. I like the stand because its adjustable and solid, it suits me needs but, if I really had other alternatives, I would return this in a heartbeat. Since I am electronic savvy, I will replace the switch with something more substantial and I will attempt to re-align the usb ports, heck I may just rewire the whole thing and bring it to the 21st century.If you don't need an adjustable stand with a cooling fan, I strongly suggest you look somewhere else.

I just received this item today, and I'm already enjoying it! It fits my 17.3 inch laptop, has already cooled it off EXTREMELY by 20 degrees, and ONE of the best parts is this: you CAN turn OFF the LED LIGHT!!! However, there are a few disappointments I must express: 1. This item was to INCLUDE an instruction manual WITH PURCHASE, which I did NOT RECEIVE! 2. It IS a little difficult to adjust (pulling up and pushing down) to a satisfying position, which DOES INCLUDE "wobbliness" AND "SLIDING OFF" the table from the back side, while adjusting this stand to a certain position, and with a laptop on the stand; I believe this reason is due to the material used to create this laptop stand! 3. In order for the fan AND LED light to work, and "cool down" a laptop, it must be plugged into an outlet, by using a MUCH LONGER USB CORD; the one that comes included IS TOO SHORT!!! Oh, and after about 10 minutes of use, it CAN cause some EYE FATIGUE/STRAIN, so purchase yourself a pair of Anti-glare Computer Glasses - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; purchase a pair of the Gunnar Optiks HAU-02301 Haus Advanced Computer Glasses. They are the ONLY PATENTED computer eyewear RECOMMENDED by Ophthalmologists (eye doctors), to protect AND enhance your vision from digital eye strain/fatigue and blue light, including any/all LED LIGHT(S) while viewing electronic devices (computers, tablets, mobile phones, etc.) at home, at the office, or your local public hotspot(s), like Starbucks!Other than those three facts, which is WHY I gave this a 4 STAR RATING out of 5 Stars, this is a GREAT PRODUCT to own, AND use for your laptop needs - ESPECIALLY, for the PAIN RELIEF you GET from your back AND neck, which is the OTHER BEST PART OF OWING THIS PRODUCT! I really love this computer stand. I bought it this last December to hold my new HP 17 inch (Heavy) laptop. It is built solid but as mentioned by other reviewers it is rather stiff to adjust, but once’s it’s adjusted it won’t be moving around, which is a good thing.There is one problem I had with the fan. After using it the third time it started making a loud noise like it was coming apart. I unplugged it from the computer to investigate the noise. The blades were hitting one of the wire routers. I noticed the fan hub wasnot mounted level due to one of the screws not being installed. Upon further investigation I noticed the reason for the missing screwwas due to one of the holes not lining up, so only two screws were installed causing the hub not to set level. I would suggest that if you buy this stand check to see if all three screws were installed. So I guess I will be without a fan for now. NOTICE MISSING SCREWat bottom of picture.

This is the thanksgiving gift from my wife, probably she's too much worried about my back and neck pain due to the long time coding work and get recommended by her friend for this "relief" gadget. I tried it for couple of days and here is a brief using experience so far:Pros:1.this stand is very light but solid, probably made from aluminum and titanium alloy I assume, comparing to many other stands I saw in the shop. Design is simple but elegant, with streamlined edges and smooth surface. And you don't need to worry about accidentally scratching or leaving finger print on the surface.2. It come with all the features I need: easy to adjust angels, sliding preventing rubbers, and full stack of in-out usb hubs. And it comes with the FAN! Definitely welcomed by those game lovers and the sounds turns out to be very quite, for me I can't even notice that the fan is turn on.cons: there is no brochure or instructions included. That being said, who would ever need it for a laptop stand?In general this is a perfect working assistant for me and even become a decoration gadget in my office. As any same quality stand in the shop would cost you twice the price at least, that leaving you no other choice :)

This has been a wonderful addition to working from home. For security reasons, we had to use college equipment to access the institutional databases. So all employees went home with school laptops. Small keyboards, horrible touchpads... it was time for a full-size keyboard and mouse but then the screen is so far away you can read it. In comes this wonderful little stand with a fan (could do without the light but that's a minor thing). The lift I get allows me to type on the full-size keyboard that is actually UNDER the laptop. The screen is as close, if not closer, than if I was using the laptop alone... I think the raised screen is what's closer and easier to read.

I got this product very fast, only took 2 days. This product is very ergonomic, elegant, stable, etc. Actually, it is exactly what I was looking for. However, it is a little noisy and it can be annoying for some clients. I do not like the noise but I can deal with since it is very ergonomic. Because of the noise I can only give 3.5 to 4 points out of 5.
