True Cross Pen Push-In Coverter
Just what you need for your Cross Bailey Light pens. The cartridge that comes the the CBL is a bit small and actually seems to hold less ink. Works well.

This converter works great!
I go back far enough that I can remember when fountain pens were filled from an ink bottle and you didn't have cartridges to worry about. I also remember when the cartridge pens came out and everybody thought they were all the rage but the people who were happiest were the companies that made the cartridges because they are the ones that made all the money. Now you cannot buy a fountain pen but isn't a cartridge pen unless you buy a converter, and I have to tell you that this converter for a Cross pen is really a great Appliance. It's a wonderful addition to this fountain pen but also you know that you're not going to have to constantly be worrying about running out of ink when you are writing. It is so economical and really saves a pile of money.

Fits, no leaks
Does the two things you want a fountain pen converter to do, it fits securely and it doesn’t leak. Used it in my Cross ATX.

I feel fancy now that I can use bottled ink!
I like fountain pens. I find them to be fun, and while I'm not obsessed with them, if I find a nice one for a song, I'll clean it up and give it a good home. I recently came across a vintage Cross fountain pen in just such an event, but I had no ink cartridges for it, and I'd always wanted to try bottled ink -- so I decided to get Cross ink adapter, hoping it'd fit. It did! (In case it helps anyone, my pen is a Century Classic model, and almost certainly made during the 1980s.)The converter is easy enough to dip-and-fill with ink once installed, but I do find that there's always an unfilled space larger than what I'd expect. I'll keep working on that and maybe if I figure out any tips, I'll update -- no promises though; reviewers tend to suck at making good on promised future updates, and I'm no exception. Otherwise, it works like an ink cartridge and it makes me happy to be able to use bottled ink for a change. :-)

Where has this been all my life?!?!!?!?
I was a few days ago years old when I found out you could use this to convert a fountain pen to one that takes straight ink from wells instead of carts. Carts are convenient but more expensive and the quantity of ink is sparse.Enter this handy doodad! I got it for my new Bailey fountain pen and it worked great! I did have to fish out a cartridge they put in the pens body first, before it would fit. I wonder how many don’t realize there’s a free cartridge up in there? Some people have said there’s a spring in there instead, you have to pull out. Depends on your model…. But I can confirm it does work for the Bailey. It is a little messy, tho… I’ve not nailed my technique yet. I think I’ll use disposable gloves next time lolNow I think I’ll pick up converters for my pilot parallel calligraphy pens too.

Works perfectly
I am so impressed how well this device works compared to the preloaded ink cartridges for my fountain pens. I have had countless issues where the preloaded inkwells failed to maintain any level of ink as they run down lower and this solves that problem at a much cheaper refill cost

I have three of these. Recommend.
I have about 20 different fountain pens with refillable ink cartridge converters in each of them. Five of them are Cross pens. I got them on sale after the holidays, and invested and additional seven dollars in each one to buy refillable converters like this and use my own bottled selection of ink. They work quite well and are of comparable quality to all of the converters that came in my other pens.If you have a cross fountain pen, there are two different kinds of converters, some that screw in, like for the Bailey model, and some that pushing like for the Townsend and aventura models. The Corss website has the listing for which one your pen needs. It's a worthwhile investment for the pen considering cross ink cartridges are quite limited. You may need to soak the nib section of your pen overnight if you were switching from the cross cartridges to another Inc. which is lighter or colored because the feed assembly really retains a lot of the deep pigment.

Compatible avec le Botanica vert
Nickel !

Does the job.
This does the job. The only downside is that it can flow too freely, leading to some leakage from an overflowing nib. It tends to twist as you open and close the end to insert the device. It does the job delivering ink, but does get a little inky on your fingers.
