I almost poured this away, convinced that some unscrupulous profiteer had substituted 5 litres of water for 5 litres of hand gel. I wrote to Serenity about it and received this very plausible response, so I am changing my rating from one star to four. The missing star is because a fifth of this precious liquid had leaked out by the time it arrived. The top of the bottle was not secure and the package arrived wet.Seenity wrote that: “this product is not designed to be used straight from the refill bottle. The correct way to dispense the product is using a foam or spray dispenser. If used as instructed it will work as intended and you can be assured you are being protected by one of the most advanced hand sanitisers available.Our product has been independently tested to kill Coronavirus, Ebola, MRSA, E.Coli, C.Difficile and many more all without the negative effects of alcohol based sanitisers which include damaged skin and high flammability.The product does not have a seal as like all products of this kind it is not a food product.I hope the above is helpful.Best WishesAndrewSerenity Hygiene“

Buy buy buy -save yourself in this pandemic!I was a bit worried they this product wouldn't work as it's not alcohol based so I contacted the seller!I got a great response that put my mind at ease.. see below.Bottom line as soon this product becomes available buy to have at home, I'm so lucky I got one big container with 5l to protect my familyAlcohol sanitisers are the best known but they are not the only solution to killing viruses. Alcohol based sanitisers are vastly inferior to advanced biocides such as ours that have undergone rigorous independent testing to British and European standards (BSEN1446/7) for destroying viruses.To put this in context a virus such as Norovirus is almost immune to alcohol based sanitisers as the ethanol cannot penetrate the viruses protective membrane. Benzalkonium Chloride which is the active ingredient in our hand sanitiser has been proven against some of the worst viruses in existence including Ebola and Norovirus. It has also passed testing showing it kills coronavirus.Government advice is outdated in respect of alcohol free sanitisers primarily because they are uncommon. By purchasing a Serenity Hygiene hand sanitiser you are gaining the most advanced method of protection available.

I am very disappointed with this product and can't trust it as a hand sanitiser. It smelt of nothing and the plastic container was dented on arrival and the bottle opened all to easily with no seal. For all I know it could just be soapy water. I will not use this product. I would like to return this but the seller will not let me do it. Buyer beware.

Definitely not hospital grade !! Water in a 5l milk tub, it was not sealed !!!!! not even a gel , just a watery substance ??? and I will be requesting a return and refund . Definitely will not purchase again . Buyers be aware !!

Very pleased with this product. Used in foaming soap dispenser instead of soap and works very well as does not dry the skin as alcohol based sanitisers do. No scent at all, excellent! Was granted approval against COVID-19 and similar viruses in February 2020. I am very pleased with my purchase and will buy more when necessary. I am not connected to the company in any way except as a very contented customer.

We placed two orders for 6 bottles of this as it came up during the search for Hand Sanitiser. As we are a business we are trying to help protect our staff during this pandemic.The delivery took a long time to arrive for both orders and when they arrived, they are a total waste of money! The bottles weren't even sealed for protection.No where in the title or description did this say it was alcohol free or for dispensers only. We can see they have now amended there listing to say this, but this does not help us.This item is awful. When it arrived it says alcohol-free on it, with the high demand for hand sanitiser with alcohol in to protect against COVID-19, this company is profiting on the pandemic.This is not Hospital grade as it states it's just 5 litres of water! We do not feel safe using this and providing this for our staff.We would like to return these for a full refund. Please can you provide a pre-paid label for both our orders and we will get these back to you.

The actual hand sanitizer is fantastic, can't fault it. It is non alcohol based and is foaming in the correct bottle. It will not work in a standard pump bottle so ensure your refillable bottle has the ability to make the foam.We have a refillable bottle so I ordered this 5 litre bottle to keep refilling it. The refillable bottle has the 12m symbol on it so assumed that this being the same formula it would also be safe to use within 12 months which would work out very good value for money.I was disappointed to see that it said 3 months on the bottle once I opened the packaging, there's no way an individual household could use this within 3 months. Would be ok if you bought it with friends and shared it or bought it to use in a larger organisation, however there was no mention of the 3 month expiration on the description on Amazon otherwise I would have bought a smaller amount.I give the contents of the bottle 5 stars, however the misunderstanding with the expiration brings my stars down to 3. I will buy a smaller amount in the future.

Total waste of money! look at all the other reviews if you don't like what I'm writing Serenity. This product is most definitely not hospital grade. You say you don't provide a seal as there is no alcohol content. Other manufacturers provide a seal for buyer confidence, to show that the product has not been tampered with. This thin watery, slightly soapy substance is not something I feel at all confident in offering for client use. Buyer beware!
