I just installed 4 of these in place of my florescent bulbs. 2 bulbs are the same price as the ballast. Fairly easy to install. Just wire like a regular light. One end of the tube is wired to the neutral and the other end is wired to the power. They put out great light. They are shipped in a strong cardboard box with cardboard tube over each bulb. Each bulb has a cap over the end to further protect them. I will order more as my ballasts go bad.

You can search till your head explodes when it comes to light tubes.I picked these and so far I'm pleased. I have tried many. These are of good quality so far. The packaging is very nice. The come in a heavy box. Each light tube is in a cardboard tube with caps so the lights are resistant to shipping damage. They mount nicely in the fixtures however: they droop in the center to the point they will lose contact and not emit light. Simple fix. I used rear tie wire around the entire fixture and twisted them to the tubes lightly. No more droop and they are always making contact. I mounted these on a above bench catwalk that's 9 ft high by 26 ft long. I have 4 fixtures under the cat walk (8 bulbs total) when these lights are on I now have the light power of the sun at the flip of a switch. The color of the light is true daylight. I can see very well through my auto darkening welding helmet. Time will tell the actual quality of the light tubes. But my experience is even if the lights don't last what they claim, the companies have discontinued the lights anyways.

Although, the warranty is not explicit This seller does offer replacement or refund on the bulbs they sell.Amazon says check their web site I could not find one at least not under Jomitop. I have installed another case of these bulbs they are bright working great so far.

Blubs are Excellent very bright. Exceed my expectations. Ordered 25. 6 were damaged in shipping from FedEx. The company replaced the blubs is a few days. Excellent customer service.

But these do put a decent amount of heat and are very warm to the touch after being on for only a short time. They are close to instant on but there is a noticeable delay. The angled model we installed is handy in that you can rotate it to illuminate dark areas of our low ceiling garage. There is a little sag in the 8' bulbs however in retrospect the clips are a waste of time and money. Would have been nice to ship the clips with the bulbs to avoid messing with the bulbs a 2nd time however since the box had enough room in it for 1000 clips. As to the install - if you have any electrical experience at all this is pretty simple install for a wall switch control fixture or fixtures. Power off. Cut ballast wires and remove the ballast. Connect the tombstone(s) at one end (doesn't matter which) to neutral (white), connect the tombstone(s) at the other end to line (black). If you have more than one fixture in series (controlled by the same wall switch) the process is the same for each. In my case I had 2 fixtures back to back with only one power feed so I recycled some of the wire I cut off to make a jumper from the tombstones at one end of the far fixture to reach the line (black). But the basic wiring diagram remains the same. Don't know how energy efficient they are since I have no way to meter the fixture but got tired of replacing fluorescent bulbs. We'll see how long they last. I like them enough to try them in 8 fixtures at one end of my shop to see how they hold up in a non climate controlled area. UPDATE 12/10/20 - just bought another 25 to replace a batch of cheaply made ones that were failing one after the other. These are quality bulbs and come carefully packaged in a sleeve and with a plastic cap over the pin that goes into the tombstone.

I installed 48 of these bulbs with another 48 to install. With 10 to 20 hours of operation 25% of the bulbs had 1/2 of the bulb go out. I will not buy this brand or from Jomitop again. Jomitop will not respond.

Hard to find part for light fixture. slightly different than original but perfect replacement. worked great and for a awesome price.

This is such an easy conversion the hard part is taking the lights down and putting them back up. I just did 18 8ft lights and my shop doesn't look like an old dirty garage anymore. My old High output cool white tubes looked yellow next to the new LED lights. Getting rid of the start ballast which is HEAVY and now will not have to be replaced when they die everything is a plus. Will I save enough to pay for the cost I'm Not sure but like I said I won't be buying anymore ballasts or tubes so figure that and the drop in electricity it's a win for me1/7/20 UPDATE The lights are still working great but they produce a problem that no one has mentioned in the reviews. I have a Lift Master commercial door opener on my garage door and after about a month it decided to not respond to the clicker from outside. The service company has been out 5 times and tried everything they can to overcome this problem. Bottom line is the LED lights cause interference with the electronics of the opener. This is not an isolated problem it happens a lot and I'm surprised I didn't see anything on here about it.My unit is 8 years old and in great shape and they are saying my only hope is to BUY a NEW Commercial unit the uses the 3 TIER transmitter to overcome the interference along with 5 new clickers and key pad for about $1200. and he is giving me a deal due to not getting it fixed right away. So what I may have saved on electricity in the future just went out the window forever IF this fixes the problem? So if your thinking of converting you may want to do more research? Too late for me.
