A bit disappointed with the packaging, as the book was a bit folded and torn.. I was reading the pdf of this book, which later inspired me to buy this. It is a deeply moving and meticulously researched account of the Prophet’s life — both a spiritual and historical masterpiece. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to understand Islam and its Prophet from the most reliable early sources.

I always wanted to have this as a physical copy because of how well Martin Lings portrayed the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad. However there are certain stories which are complete fabrication and doesn't fit in here if we see through the lense of Authentic Hadith. One should have a PDF companion mentioning the mistakes made by Martin Lings. Other than that this is pure melody. You will certainly feel it when you read it. Go and grab the physical copy.
