Complete Cleaning Kit

Submersible cleaners are your best option for really a really deep clean but aren't the best option for casual dust removal and everyday cleaning. This kit is an excellent value that holds up against a very wide variety of other options, even costlier ones that don't offer any better options. It's color coordinated and looks very nice. The contents are mostly rebranded generic products but are very well coordinated and branded and offer a great value in how they are brought together. Quality is about as good as you need it to be for such a product. You won't find anything better unless you plan on spending at least another 20-30 dollars and even then it's arguable if it's even truly worth it. The static brush loses some bristles, it's a generic rebrand so it's the same one you get in a ton of other kits and is often sold single, but it is conductive and uses your body to mitigate the static but only get's rid of it a little bit. Most of what its great at is picking up dirt before and after plays, super effective at this. Use as directed and it will take most artifacts off the surface of the record. I now keep it right on the record player at all times. The spray and felt brush also do a pretty good job but it is hard to spread the spray evenly around the record which isn't a big deal. The spray takes away most of the static but still leaves some. It does clean the records pretty well though. Pretty much all of these type of kits will be the same in terms of how much static they remove. A submersive bath will be the most effective at removing all of the static. Though these are good at removing most of the static too. After you play the records you'll see that your stylus picks up some residue from the spray so try to not use more than needed or directed. Overall this is a great little kit and this is my most honest review of it. I'm very happy with it and if I ever need more I'll go straight to this supplier.

I have a modest collection of old albums I purchased starting in the 70’s until they switched to CDs, which I could never commit to because I love the album artwork & song lyrics so much. My albums have been stored at various times as they followed me to college, post graduate degree, career moves & life changes. Unable to find my old velvet brush, I purchased this set. What a treat! The last time I played my albums, I could hear crackling sounds attesting to their age & my failure to treat them like gold. One of the boxes was even damp on one bottom corner and the covers of the albums from that area showed modest water damage. To my delight, even those albums played like new after cleaning with this kit. Even album with visible shallow marring or slight scratches, again played like new. This kit did far more than I ever anticipated. Hope I haven’t oversold my experience to where a reader is disappointed when their albums, a bit more damaged than mine, are not completely restored by the product. It should be noted that I was very meticulous with each and every step recommended by the kit. I also purchased and installed a new diamond tip turntable needle because the existing needle was several years old and not properly protected in the manner it was packed for the last move. Bottom line, this is a quality kit and in my opinion, will exceed all reasonable expectations. Hope any who purchase this kit experience the same delight I did hearing my old albums sound as good as the day I purchased them 30-40+ years ago.

Nicely packaged kit, has all of the essentials. I used it to clean up a few older records that got hit with some water damage. Cleaning kit worked well to remove some grime, dirt, dust, etc. Not sure how it compares to Library of Congress style deep cleaning, with rinsing and drying procedures...but it seemed to work well for standard use. I love the brush for quick static sweeping, picks up lint and dust well for smooth listening. Definitely take a look, good kit at a reasonable price!

nothing worse than dropping $$$ on a record, searching high and low for that gem...hell, just being a newb and buying that cool colored vinyl....and DUST or debris somehow gets in your grooves ruining that LP forever......the brush is INCROYABLE and so functional...my only fear is that it won't last a lifetime and I'll happily buy more brushes from this company...the cleaning supplies seem to not damage the record, there is even a stylus cleaner....GREAT FOR A GIFT AND A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY RECORD LOVER.....can use the brush with every play to maintain a pristine collection of your heart's heart

I ordered the 3 in 1 kit first and then decided I needed the 6 in1 kit, the 3 in 1 kit came with a much thicker microfiber cloth and it doesn’t hurt to have an extra bottle of cleaning solution, and now I have everything I could possibly need for cleaning records and my stylist. I have about 400 records from 1956-1990 that had never been cleaned before, what a difference when the record and stylist are clean, but what a project also, now I can enjoy my collection with much better sound. Definitely worth the money, instructions were easy to follow, very happy with the results.

Good packaging. Velvet brush should have cover. Uncertain if carbon fibre brush works & quality??. Instructions should have been given in manual if cloth can be washed after multiple use.
