Excellent value for money. Very comfortable. Love the fact that it comes with two covers and that they can be washed: my first weighted blanket could only be sponge cleaned, it was a nightmare! Changing the covers is easier with two people, due to the weight, not that it's complicated. Definitely improves sleep quality. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical to get a weighted blanket online, just due to how many there are, but also i am bad at imagining the actual weight. I am glad i got this one though!I have currently only used the furry cover, and it is so soft and comforting, though the summer cover feels like it will be nice too. I took some photos the actual blanket itself and how you tie it in, i haven't had to tie a strap in myself yet so i dunno how easy it'd be to do it, but it doesn't seem too hardI can't accurately describe the weight, but, I'm a 25 year old male, I've taken care of horses, and used to be a dog walker and could have multiple dogs pulling me on a lead, so I'm used to somewhat heavy force. This blanket (I got the 9kg/20lbs one) is very heavy! I have a rather thick granite chopping board and folded up I'd guess it feels about the same as that. Unfolded it is still rather heavy but definitely not as heavyI suffer from quite severe insomnia, I'm coming up on 2 weeks of having it and have only had 2 nights bad sleep. But during the day, having it wrapped around me is just such a calming and relaxing experience, it definitely helps when i feel stressed or anxious. Personally i like the sounds of the beads moving but you only hear them move if you move a lot with it, it's a very light soundLastly, even sitting directly beside my radiator with it on, considering it is a thick blanket and a thick cover, i never feel hot in it, it is winter, but that was one thing that i was concerned aboutOver all, i am very very happy with it, so far it is definitely working for me, and yes, it is quite heavy, but that weight is what makes it so effective i think. I like it a lot :)

So much choice but after reading reviews and seeing that this blanket had 2 covers, one for warmth, one for staying cooler, I chose this one and I'm very pleased with it.I got it for insomnia, restless leg syndrome and to help me relax more at night. It felt odd the first couple of nights but now I wouldn't sleep without it. It really relaxes me and helps me get off to sleep easily and quickly. I have good quality sleep and lots of REM sleep too.The warmer cover is lush, really cosy comforting feel to it. I've yet to try the summer one. There are tags all around the edges of the blanket which keep the cover in place and prevents the blanket moving about inside it.I washed it straight away as it had a funny smell but that left straight after washing it. Washed in the machine well.Size is perfect. Weight is perfect. It is heavy. Don't underestimate the weight.Price was really good, worthy investment if you're struggling with insomnia, anxiety, autism, adhd, restless leg syndrome, depression.Update AUG 2020. Still very happy with product. Ordered a second one to keep at partner's house.

I wanted to try a weighted blanket as I had heard good things about them for helping restless legs syndrome. I went for the heaviest 8 kg and it comes well packaged and with a choice of covers, it is really nice to touch, very soft and even, in hindsight I should have gone for a lighter one because it is really heavy and uncomfortably so when under it in bed, and moving it in the night is not easy so I am using it as a seat and back cover in my car, but I would buy the same make again just a lot lighter.

I selected this particular weighted blanket over the others on offer, because of the size (CM) some of the others are a little shorter wich for me would be desirable. The fact that this package comes with a removable fleece cover and an additional cotton cover is a really nice touch. I suspect that the blanket itself is much the same in construction for most of the line of products.The blanketos soft and a good temperature regulation. It really does help to improve sleep through the entire night. I feel a lot more rested and fresh. In my opinion really is worth the money.

Child with ASD and sleep disruption...willing to try anything to support a good sleep for child but didn't want child sized. Bought this and was amazing, positive impact on them!! They love it so much that they actually go to bed just to snuggle it. Teenager (undiagnosed as ASD) really took a shine to it and so I bought a 2nd 1. Same quality and instant success for sleep disruption! These easily cover a single bed from top to bottom with over hang and definitely a great investment! Child with ASD described it "as being hugged all night long! I feel so safe when it's on me!!" That sentence, right there, brought a tear to my eyes and I wish I had bought these much sooner!

I've left the review for a little while so I could get used to it and see if it really is as good as everyone says and...wow! I have been sleeping so much better!I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who suffers from claustrophobia as I can imagine the weight being restrictive and causing an attack to occur. But for me, this is ideal. I have been fidgeting and moving in my sleep less which has helped me sleep better and I do feel a lot less tired during the day.The additional covers is also a big bonus! Definitely worth paying the little bit extra for.

I opted for the 8kg which feels heavy when moving it around but when it’s on it’s fine as the weight is spread across the blanket so you’ve never actually got the whole 8kg on you.For the price I was quite wary but I’m delighted with this. The two covers are well made and the winter one is soft and cosy. Used this instead of my duvet and fell asleep quicker and stayed asleep rather than my usual waking repeatedly.Would highly recommend.

Molto bella e calda. Viene consegnata con una copertura in pelliccetta (sintetica)e una in cotone: in questo modo si può usare sia d’inverno che nei mesi primaverili. Per il momento la sto usando solo d’inverno quindi non so se funziona in egual modo anche con il rivestimento estivo.PRO: calda, morbida, avvolgente é molto piacevole per dormirciCONTRO: é molto pesante e per piegarla servono 2 persone, spero sia semplice cambiare il rivestimento!

Tenía tres meses sin poder dormir bien. Una noche con esta maravilla y logré quedarme dormida en tiempo récord y dormir 8h seguidas (mas o menos)sin despertarme una sola vez. Es sin duda la mejor idea que he tenido.

Was habe ich nicht alles schon ausprobiert...die Nahrungsergänzungsmittel, die zu einem besseren Schlaf verhelfen sollen, füllen schon einen kleinen Karton, bei Tabletten vom Arzt ist man am Folgetag noch müde und dösig, und auch an Kopfkissen habe ich schon einiges durch.Ich gehöre zu den Leuten, die nachts immer mal wieder (ohne offensichtlichen Grund) nachts wach werden und dann wieder Zeit bis zum Einschlafen brauchen. Gegen Morgen hin wird der Schlaf zunehmend flacher, und die Tage, an denen ich im Monat erst vom Wecker geweckt werde, kann ich an einer Hand abzählen.Am wohlsten fühle ich mich im Bett im Winter - eine dicke, kuschelige Decke auf mir. Ein Horror ist es für mich, Urlaub irgendwo in einem südlichen Land zu machen - nicht falsch verstehen - ich liebe warmes Klima! Aber nachts deckt man sich dort nur mit einer dünnen Decke oder nur einem Laken zu. Das ist so gar nichts für mich, ich muss mich für einen guten Schlaf immer irgendwie gut eingehüllt und bedeckt fühlen.Eine Umstellung in irgendeiner Weise war es nicht für mich. Habe mich gleich gefühlt wie unter der alten Kamelhaardecke von der Großmutter. Und tatsächlich - ich werde deutlich seltener wach, drehe mich nicht mehr so oft um. Das ist jetzt keine reine Empfindung, mein Sleep-Tracker am Handgelenk zeichnet es ziemlich deutlich auf.Die Medienberichte über Therapie- und Gewichtsdecken haben sich in der letzten Zeit etwas gehäuft, so dass ich dachte: hm, warum nicht, mal ein anderer Ansatz. Also, 10kg Decke sind schon ein Wort (ich wiege 85kg auf 1,95m Größe), aber das Gewicht lastet nicht komplett auf dem Körper, die Decke liegt ja links und rechts neben dem Körper noch auf dem Bett auf. Die abgesteppten Kassetten sind relativ klein, so dass ich nichts davon merke, dass sich der Füllungsinhalt irgendwohin verschiebt. Man hört oder spürt auch nichts rieseln.Die Nachteile liegen leider auch deutlich auf der Hand: meine normale Standard-Bettwäsche kann ich jetzt nicht mehr verwenden. Diese Bettdecke ist deutlich größer und muss auch (etwas fummelig) innen mit kleinen Bändern im Bezug verknotet werden. Man muss sich gut überlegen, welche Knoten man macht - irgendwann zum Waschen muss man sie ja auch wieder öffnen. Das System ist noch nicht der Weisheit letzter Schluss. Ich hätte mir da irgendwas mit Knöpfen gewünscht.Auch jetzt im Sommer ist die Decke mit dem dünnen Bezug nicht zu warm. Schwitzig ist mir darunter gar nicht, das Material scheint etwas "mitzuatmen". Vom Gefühl her ist der Bezug fast so wie Microfaser - das Polyethylen dürfte vermutlich auch der gleiche Ausgangsstoff sein.Der ebenfalls mitgelieferte Winterbezug hat eine pelzige, aber sehr glatte Struktur. Ich glaube, das Material wird als "false mink" (falscher Nerz) bezeichnet. Offensichtlich sehr pflegeleicht, allerdings hat man das Gefühl, als ob viele viele Rassekatzen auf einem drauf liegen würden, wenn man sich dann zudeckt. Ein einfacherer, aufgerauter Bezug wie Biber hätte es für mich hier auch getan.Die Decke hat allerdings auch einen gewissen Gewöhnungseffekt - fehlt sie, dann hat man auch nicht mehr dieses schöne, eingehüllte Schlafgefühl. Ich bin relativ häufig auf Dienstreisen unterwegs. 10 kg will ich nicht extra mitschleppen, freue mich dann aber immer wieder auf zu Hause auf "meine" Decke.
