⚔️ Own the battlefield — where pilots soar and Titans roar!
Titanfall for Xbox 360 is a multiplayer-only first-person shooter that revolutionizes combat with vertical movement and giant mech battles. Developed by Respawn Entertainment’s veterans from Call of Duty, it requires an Xbox Live Gold membership and 1.2GB of hard drive space. While it lacks game installation and deep customization, its fast-paced, balanced gameplay and intense online matches make it a must-have for competitive players craving fresh FPS action.

Reinvigorates the Multiplayer First-Person Shooter Genre- and it's Glorious!
A single gameplay video is worth a 10,000 word review when it comes to Titanfall. There are plenty of well-written reviews already available that explain how the game works, how the Xbox 360 version compares to the Xbox One version, etc. So this review won't include a lot of detailed explanations that other review contain. Instead, I'll focus on specific aspects of the game that I find particularly excellent: Player Movement: Titanfall is a breath of fresh air for a genre that has been Call of Duty'ed, Battlefield'ed, Killzone'ed, etc. nearly to death. I quite enjoy the FPS genre, so I'm guilty of buying each year's new recycled iteration in hopes that it might be different this time. Each year, I have felt dissapointed. But not this year. Not with Titanfall. Titanfall might share graphical, control-scheme similarities with other FPS games, namely Call of Duty. Yes, you run around with a gun and shoot at bad guys in a fast paced environment. But that's where the similarities between Titanfall and Call of Duty, Killzone, Crysis, Killzone, etc. end. Titanfall's gameplay is fast and vertical. As a pilot, your jump pack lets you move across large gaps between buildings, run along walls, and even scale high cliffs, all accomplished by timing when you push the "jump" button. The freedom of movement ensures hectic but balanced battlefields. It's easy to get behind camping snipers, easy to get the drop on an unsuspecting opponent, but also easy to find creative ways to navigate the battlefield so that your opponents don't get an easy drop on you. Balance: Titanfall is brilliantly balanced. There might not be a huge variety of weapons, but that's because each weapon is an ideal, perfected version of what that class of weapon should be. All pilots have anti-titan weapons that are very effective at taking down armored monstronsities. Titans are strong and powerful enough to be formiddable opponents, and a real treat when your own Titan falls, but Titans aren't over-powered, and a coordinated effort with quickly reduce a brand new titan to scrap metal. Focused on gameplay, not cinematics: I can tell that, due to how small and new Respawn is as a company, their somewhat limited development dollars were poured into gameplay, leaving something to be desired of the campaign narrative and exposition. But really, Titanfall is so fun to play, that any extra campaign narrative would just get in the way of bouncing around the battlefield shooting and blowing stuff up. Just plain fun: The highest praise for Titanfall that I can give is this: I haven't had this much fun with a multiplayer shooter since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Halo 2. I loved playing those games. When I wasn't playing them, I thought about how much I wanted to play them. I played them with friends; I played them alone. I had fun when I won a match, and I had fun when I lost a match. No, I wasn't addicted. I would never forego necessary responsibilities, or dodge actually human interaction to game. But at the end of a long day, nothing would relieve the stress and clear my head like a couple rounds of Call of Duty or Halo. The same is now true for Titanfall. And frankly, I can't wait to get home and fire it up. Cheers!

HONESTLY NOT a GAME worth 60 bucks
***Notation***: Any of the following information mentioned below can very easily be found anywhere on the web via youtube or common searches. When considering buying this product it is IMPORTANT to take into account the products "FUNCTIONALITY". This particular version of the game for this platform DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO INSTALL THIS GAME ON YOUR CONSOLE, meaning that you are forced to play this game from the disc. End Notation 4/9/2014 This game was developed on a supposedly "Heavily modified version of the Source Engine". The Source Engine has been around a very long time. So has the Xbox360. So everything about the games playability, functionality, load times, latency, lag, unfortunately EVERYTHING about this game has "forced the buyer" to suffer from a level of functionality that developers have surpassed years ago. Bluepoint Games (The game developer responsible for the Xbox360 version) has specifically and intentionally DENIED -->you<-- the ability to install this game upon your Hard Drive. Upon placing the game in the console you are prompted for an update and the option to "Install" the game has been removed completely. GRAPHICS: You can actually enjoy the games graphics for what they are, but they are nothing stellar. Its the same engine that "Call of Duty" has been developed on. So if you were in a hospital bed and a doctor needed to determine a "Baseline" for graphics youll see throughout the internet that the graphics are just base graphics. There is absolutely nothing stellar about any of the graphics. CUSTOMIZATION: This game offers the most basic customization. As a matter of fact "who" you look like as a foot soldier is determined by which primary weapon you are carrying. Even then, the loadout screen depicts a JPG image of a soldier. The weapons when customizing them are one dimensional JPG images. Basically, there is absolutely nothing customizable about anything other than picking what you want to use, shown to you by a one dimensional JPG image, followed by a one dimensional JPG image of a soldier or Titan, followed by JPG images of weapons in your loadout. All "flat" one dimensional images.... similar to when youd pick a character in Street Fighter on the Sega Genesis. So theres no immense development put into weapons nor soldiers nor titans. Very bland, PLAYABILITY: Ever since this most recent generation of consoles ability to install games it has benefitted not only YOU as a consumer but also those you play with by installing your game onto your consoles HD. I am well BEYOND the standard for any Internet Connection down/up speeds. So its important not to misunderstand when I say that they game forces everything to play WITH LAG, it forces you to HAVE drain on your console, it forces your games "Frames per second" to suffer. Why? Because your are now spinning and pulling data off of a game disc. This game suffers from lag, framerate drops, and connection speed issues because the DEVELOPER has forced you to play the game from a disc. In this day and age (last time I was subjected to this poor development of a game) theres no excuse for selling a product with absolutely NO DISCLOSURE of the inability to actually INSTALL the game. Hit registration, jumpy soldier movements, lag, framerate drops, connection issues all slowed down to an abysmal crawl because BLUEPOINT GAMES didn't want you to be able to install the game. Don't buy into this game. Youll have buyers remorse. Unless you have no standards. If you have no standards by all means waste your money. This game is NOT worth buying a new console for. "Destiny" is a game worth a new console. but this no talent azz clown watered down game that forces you to play from a disc isn't worth more than 28 bucks tops. Buying this game gets you: -1 day 1 update -ABSOLUTE Zero customization of soldiers and Titans -SOLDIER Loadout customization of 3 weapons, a grenade, a boost, and a special ability -Titan Loadouts of 1 primary, secondary, and an ability -15 maps... That's it. -A story mode that is so forgetful its not mentioned above OVERALL: This game is the most basic watered down FPS Ive seen within the last decade. More importantly, this game isn't on a Dreamcast, This game isn't on a Sega Genesis, but the developer has insisted on developing this game with functionality so basic that anyone with low standards will be satisfied with this mindless dribble of a game. It literally takes less skill than Call of Duty takes, that's how bad this game is. And being restricted from installing it to your HD just forces the consumer to play this game behind a firewall of LAG AND LATENCY issues. Disgusting development. Poor execution. Morose implementation of consumer choices for better performance. -NO ABILITY TO INSTALL THE GAME is TERRIBLE
