Press Here: A Magical Touch-and-Go Adventure
Imagine a book that comes alive with just a simple touch! Press Here by Hervé Tullet is a delightful interactive board book that sparks imagination and wonder in young readers (and adults, too!). My daughter absolutely loved it! With each page, you're invited to press, shake, tilt, and even blow on the book. The dots on the page seem to have a mind of their own, multiplying, changing direction, and even growing in size. It's like watching a tiny magic show unfold right before your eyes! This playful book is perfect for bedtime stories or any time you want to share a fun and interactive experience with a child. It's a wonderful way to introduce kids to the concept of cause and effect and encourage their creativity. If you're looking for a book that's both charming and surprising, Press Here is a must-have!

Engaging, fun, and interactive children’s book
I purchased Press Here for a friend’s 2 year old son because it is a favorite and often the first book to be read aloud my granddaughter chooses from the shelf. As you read, the child is asked to press the circle which magically moves across the pages, changes colors, and multiples in number. The text is fun and engaging while reinforcing following directions and introducing the abstract concept that our actions will cause things to happen. Wonderful book for readers of all ages, but especially toddlers.

Lovely amusing book, although there may be some issue with missing pages occasionally
This was a clever book. I purchased the cardboard-paged one twice over the course of a few months for two different toddlers. For the first book, there were some of the actions (turn book to left) that didn't have quite the action I expected on the next page (that is, the dots were on the wrong side?) but I didn't think much of it as it still seemed to be part of the fun of the book. However, after receiving the second book later and looking at it before I wrapped it for the gift, it seemed to me that it was a bit thicker. Moreover, In the second book, as I went through the pages, each 'action' ended up giving the 'result's that I expected on the next page. I may be mistaken, and did not have the 1st book to compare directly with the 2nd book. On the positive side, even the 1st book seemed amusing, and if being constructed with a missing page it didn't seem to have affected to quality of the 'play' (as far as I know).

Very original - makes a great gift
Very cute and interactive. Kids love it. And not boring if you have to repeat it over. And over. And over.

I read amazing reviews of the book and I probably was more excited than my 2.3 year old about this book. And I sure am not disappointed. Its an beautiful, colorful, give-wings-to-your-imagination kinda book. The dots do amazing things - increase, change color, move to one side of the book, etc. The instructions accompanying the pages and simple and clear. But that said, this book did not engage my 2.3 year old a lot. He calls in the 'Dot book', but he loses interest at about page 4 or 5. Also while the cover is a hardcover, the pages inside are glossy and relatively thin. My independent 2 year old wants to turn them on his own and I am not sure it will withstand this assault. I have kept this book aside for now, and plan to reintroduce it when he is about 2.8 years. I am pretty sure he will love it.

As a kindergarten teacher, I sometimes bring in my own books to class for storytime - this being one of those books. My personal class ranges from 2-4 and they absolutely love this during storytime, as all 18 of them can intereact with the story while still sitting down. While I definitely wouldn't leave the book to the children as the inner pages would be ripped, the cover is pretty sturdy! I've even read it to the older kids in the kindergarten and they still really enjoy the interaction in the book.
