Review Update, 1 year later (see updated picture)When the fall, came I took my umbrella down with the lights and put it in my garage which is not heated. When I went to put it back up in the spring, I plugged the lights in for the 1st time since putting them away where they were working when I put them away. The string was burned out all except for a small section (see updated pic). The only thing I can think of which caused this is from the lights being stored in the cold inside my garage. I have multiple other rope lights and none of them have failed from being in the cold. I'm changing my review from 5 star to 1 star since they did not last the test of time and I now have to spend additional effort to pull them down off my umbrella and find something that is more durable.<original review>I purchased this light rope to use to hang on my outdoor patio set umbrella for evening lighting.The length of 39 feet was the perfect length for my 10 foot diameter umbrella. It allowed me to string an outer edge circle around the umbrella as well as an inner circle of light. In the past I used the shorter length 33ft light ropes but I found that to always be a compromised solution because if I strung the 33ft rope around the outer edge of my 10ft umbrella then at night the center of my patio table was dimly lit and it made it difficult to see the table where me and my guests would typically be playing cards or other game activities where I would need to make 2 smaller circles which left the outer edges dimly lit. The 39 feet length allowed me to string an outer circle (27ft) and an inner circle(8.5ft) and joined together by a (4.5ft) center run for an overall complete lighting solution which shines down onto my patio table so we never felt we were sitting in darkness.The Warm white light color is also the perfect color for outdoor ambience lighting where it doesn't feel like you have a bright white spot light shining on you.I also found that this rope light has more LED's per foot than all the other 33 foot length rope light offerings around the same price. This rope light has 11 lights/foot where the others have 7.3 lights/foot which makes this rope light more evenly lighted and a better value overall for not much move $ than the 33ft length rope lights. It also has a standard ac plug instead of those annoying wall wart plugs with the tiny wires which can easily get damaged and the plug looking like an eye sore. Instead it has a nice solid and sturdy power cord which won't get damaged when I roll my umbrella up and down.Pros:- 39foot length perfect for complete lighting of 10ft diameter umbrella- Warm white light perfect for outdoor patio ambience- 11 lights/foot instead of 7.3lights/foot (more even and fuller lighting)- Heavy duty power cord with no ugly wall wart adapter.Cons- None its perfect for my uses but I will update my review if it doesn't survive the test of time. I am so impressed with the quality. These rope lights look/feel/function like name brand ones, but for a fraction of the cost. You can tell just by feeling them that they're made with high quality materials and will last for years. They came with extras, too. If you want to put more than one strand together, you can. They come with the adapters to do that. If you want to splice them to a shorter length, guess what? They come with the ends to do that, too! They even came with little plugs to put into the ends to protect against water damage until you decide if you want to add on or not. All that, and they are so bright you can barely look at them! Perfect for Christmas decorating! Love them!

This led rope light is much better than I expected. First of all, the product actually matched the description. This is a round rope and the led lights are a very nice warm white color. Second, it seems to be very well made and comes with all the things you could want for installation. End caps, waterproof sealant, even zip ties to attach it to the included anchors. And by the way, you can cut this to be shorter if you need or you can buy a second one and it will attach to the first to make it longer. All the parts to do that are included. I'm happy!

I've only had them up for a week, so the only question is how long they will last. Will update with a lower rating if they go out within the next year. The color of the lights looked a little more white when I first took them out of the box and I thought I would be disappointed. However, I installed them around my deck and at night they were more like the soft, warm lighting I was hoping for. Almost a gold hue. So I'd have to say I'm happy so far, and all of the individual little lights in the rope work. Seems like decent quality but time will tell.

We purchased these to go around the perimeter of our pool area on our fence. They are really quite bright and cast good amount of light. They are perfect for what we wanted, but I suppose some people might find them a bit too bright if they are only seeking accent lighting.Having the lights on a large spool made installation a breeze. I used zip ties fastening directly to our fence. The supplied zip ties were too short for my application so I used others I had.I like that adhesive was supplied to make the connections watertight. The previous lights we had died due to water getting in at a connection and eventually causing corrosion and shorting.Definitely very pleased with our purchase so far.

The USPS lost my package but customer service refunded my payment and sent another package immediately. I am very pleased with the lights, they are brighter than other outdoor rope lights I have. Well packaged and easy to put together. I plugged them into a sensor that keeps them on from dusk to dawn. Now I think that I will keep the lost package if they find it and maybe order more.

I was a bit hesitant to order something that only had 32 reviews but these lights are amazing! I needed something for my screened in porch - I have a fan but the light doesn’t work and I want some ambient lighting. I used the clips included plus some double sided outdoor tape - installation took about 20 minutes. I can’t speak for the longevity as I just installed them today but so far these are perfect! I was considering getting a second strand for the top of the porch but it is completely unnecessary. They are actually so bright I can’t get a good photo of them now that the sun is down.
