Does this make your period end faster?

Well for me, it didn't make it end faster but rather during a beach vacation I could take 3 at night and 3 in the morning and it would slow my cycle down so I wasn't running to the restroom every 2 hours to make sure I didn't have a "crime scene" occuring in my underpants. The pills would almost bring it to a halt for half a day or more until I take another 3. Hope that helps :-)

What does this do exactly? Delay your period or remove symptoms?

My daughters take this on day one and two of their VERY heavy periods. It makes day one and two now survivable instead of unbearable and has been a lifesaver. They might use 1 on day three if it's still heavy but usually not. You have to experiment to see what works for you. We do not take as directed on the bottle but as directed by our integrative doc who says to take 1 or 2 every 4-6 hours like you would advil. My daughter takes 2 in the AM and 2 before bed on her Very heavy days. If you take it too much it WILL stop your period but you do NOT want that. Some people who are perimenopausal take one once a day to keep heavy bleeding at bay. I have never used it in that manner so I cannot comment on that.

How does this work, exactly? Does it train your body to produce less blood, or what is happening?
