Q: Can you use lifter to lift drums in a horizontal position?

Check the pictures of the item. The second picture says the drum should be lifted in the vertical position only!

Q: What is the chain diameter?

I am going to quess that it is 3/16 chain links, I have used this and am very pleased, works well used on 55 gal drums of diesel to unload and place on a pallet

Q: will this work with plastic 55gal barrels?
