Got the job done in a pinch. Expensive, but what are you going to do? Butcher everything else trying to pull the darn thing? It is versatile though; can pull gears and steering wheels.

Bought to install balancer on a LS base engine, Will NOT work. But great for older gen 1 gm and others.

This is a great looking product very well put together how ever this will not work on a mopar 5.7 Hemi the threaded boss is recessed further back than the adapters can reach

The tool is pretty useless with most newer engines. I had to machine down the installer and modify to fit properly. It'll work fine with older engines that use a short crank bolt. Tool is made very well, but it can't do the job it was made for!

The bearings fell out of the hold down. Notified seller and they sent me a new replacement. Good customer service. Haven’t used new one yet. Hopefully I just had a bad one from the get go.

Worked for the job I needed it for, but even greasing the bearing plate didn't stop it from being crushed and distorted. It will still work, but for how long I don't know. I'll just have to replace it with a custom made bearing when it does. The rest of the kit seems fine, the main bolt had a few threads that were iffy that I had to take a file to in order to get the large nut to roll past them, but it's fine now.For the price, and for as little as I will use it, it's fine. I would spend the money on a better quality tool if I was still doing this for a living though.

Tool comes with protective plastic case. Makes installation of harmonic balancer very easy. Protects threads in crankshaft which can be damaged using other methods. My 16 year old grandson used it when replacing cam shaft on his 70s model camaro, (project car). would buy again.

Bolt was to short to use, if you buy this go and get a longer bolt and make sure you screw the adapter down as tight as possible I even put a little locktight on it just to make sure, if you don't screw it on tight enough the bolt will back out and leave the adapter in your block.

The crankshaft insert bolts/adapters are too short. It is now just a paper weight. Didn't do job at all.
