The brightest G4 that is around 1 inch or shorter for those smaller landscape lights.
Ukey G4 LED 12v 4 Watt Bulb. These were the brightest G4 bulbs in an inch or less long that we could find as of the date of purchase. They throw off a really clean light that is 3000k or less that has no noticeable shadows or un-eveness. We did not test them on dimmable light switches so we have no feedback there, but they seem to be made very well, and look durable and waterproof. Turns out they are so bright, that we decided to buy some lower wattage 1.5watt versions. If you use these for landscaping, then they will have no challenge lighting up a tree or the side of your house but we would not suggest using them for applications where the object you are lighting is closer than 6 feet. A few of the fixtures we put them in require that we bend the light a bit to squeeze them into the light housing, but the pins are extremely durable and had no challenge taking the bend.

Dim and Uneven Color
These were dimmer than the 2w bulbs they replaced and colors wasn’t consistent from bulb to bulb.

Bright but don't last long
I purchased these to replace halogen lights in a dining room rail system. They are bright but really don't last very long; I have two other types of bulbs on the same system and they are going strong after 3+ years. These last an average of about 6 months.

Not that bright
I just go these (4W version) for my landscping to replace 20W Halogen bulbs. Reading ~400 lumen for these and ~ 250 lumen from the Halogens, I expected much more light. Well, it is about the same light, that is, these are 20W-equivalent and not 40W-equivalent. Color is good and it just fitted the space. Do not recommend.

Exceeded all expectations...
These are a remarkably good replacement for low voltage halogen bulbs, and indeed dimmable (with a good range) with a good control.The light they produce is good, and pretty consistent throughout the full 360 degrees... There is a slight discoloration along the line of its seam as the housing refracts the light a bit, but it's quite minor.I'd tried others, and they simply weren't bright enough... These, on the other hand, exceeded my expectations completely.My lamp had burned out its AC 12v transformer, so I replaced it with a dimmable 12vdc 12watt power supply:https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AH2OX5E/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1The combo is practically perfect... Especially with a Lurton CL dimmer. No flicker when dimmed and a good range of dimming.The lamp had translucent white shades, so are uniformly good light quality around the bulb was important... And this delivers!

These DO NOT LAST!
I'm not sure if it was the application I was using this for but it didn't last even a month. I used it in a microscope where I converted the power supply using an LED dimmer. But the thing lasted less than 3 weeks. So I won't be buying these again.

not very bright
they put out a nice soft white light, however, they seem more like 2W rather than 4W. these are not very bright bulbs
