UPDATE: (as of 1/21/2019) I must say that I am extremely pleased with the Customer Service at Rasse Direct. They responded, unprompted, within days of my review for this scooter and offered to make things right. They also tell me that they have revised the product instructions that come with the scooter to hopefully solve the difficulty with unfolding and re-folding the scooter handle. I would highly recommend you contact them if you had issues with this product.We bought this for our grandson for Christmas. The first challenge was unlocking the scooter handle. Fortunately, Rasse provided extended instructions on the Amazon product listing, so the first hurdle was overcome. The instructions in the box, however, leave much to be desired. After using a few times, one of the front wheels on the steering axle fell off while he was riding it with his Dad's supervision in their neighborhood. Fortunately, the boy wasn't hurt. His Dad was able to reattach the wheel but the lights no longer work. I came back to the Amazon product listing only to find that this model is no longer available with no info on whether it might be again. If you are going to purchase a scooter for your child, I would recommend doing it in a brick and mortar store where you can see the quality and return it if necessary.

We bought this scooter for our 2.5 year old daughter - here is what we think so far.Pros: solidly built, feels very sturdy when riding, rubber-like wheels make for a smooth ride (and are easy on our hardwood floors).Cons: steering mechanism doesn't allow for super tight turns (making navigation of our house tricky in spots).Overall we're happy with the purchase, and think our daughter will enjoy this scooter for many years to come.

my kid feel this scooter is so cool, stylish painting on the step board, and the handle can be fold, good for carry in the car for outdoor, the coolest thing is it got wheel lights when you speed up , really loved

Other than requiring a bit of coordination to open the scooter, this is a great quality scooter! The wheels make for a very smooth ride. The turning by leaning feature takes a little bit of getting used to, but it is fun nonetheless. The deck doesn't seem as wide as "extra wide" because my 3 year old has a bit of trouble fitting both feet, but he loves his new toy anyway. The colors are as bright as they are pictured to be in the description. Overall, we love it. The lighted wheels are an added bonus, though they don't seem as bright as the pictures, but it might just need new batteries.

The scooter was a 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 gift for five year old grand daughter. She loves it. It is colorful, sturdy, well constructed, and easy to ride indoors or outdoors. This should be something she does not quickly outgrow or lose interest in using.

This was our "big" gift for our grandson on Christmas. Wish I had seen some of these reviews before I bought it. Right out of the box the handlebars didn't "lock" into place but we assumed it was supposed to be that way until as soon as he tried to ride it he fell because the handlebars collapsed. Then I read the reviews! Very nice looking but your typical "Made in China" c..p. Our grandson was so disappointed. Now I see this is only available from 3rd party sellers used so maybe there were too many complaints/fails. Now I have to find him a new one somewhere that I can check it out before I buy.

Bought this for my god daughter. Loves the scooter, very sturdy base, height adjustable, and folds easily to put away.
