Plug and play, no programming 2011 BMW 535i F10
I replaced the OEM unit with this one on my 2011 BMW 535i (F10). It cleared all my errors: adaptive headlight malfunction, daytime running light malfunction, driver turning signal malfunction and my halo lights did not work on the driver side headlight. After installing this unit, all disappeared. Did not have to do any programming. For $35 well worth it. Will see how long it lasts, will update after few months. Installation took less than an hour. Removed the wheel and a little cover and the unit was right there. Had to use Allen key to remove far right screw, it was a little tight, but with patience, better than removing the entire wheel well

This is PLUG AND PLAY! IF...
I bought this TMS Control Module Driver Unit for my son's 2013 BMW 528i. And this is crucial for avoiding warning lights on your car. MAKE SURE that this is absolutely the right unit for your year and model. If it is, this will be a super easy swap. Check that this is what you need by swapping the driver from the other headlight, if the lights work after the swap, then it's the driver, not the LED light. I checked the LED's and found that they worked fine, so I knew that it was this control module. The unit was an absolute plug and play, was a simple install, and worked perfectly! So, check the application is correct, and buy with confidence. It's so nice to see the DLR's working again... :-)

2012 BMW 528i
This MTS module did not work on my 2012 bmw 528i xdrive after installing it and trying to program module with Ista+ it did not work.I personally used Bimmercode app and disable the adaptive headlight completely. As of now all of my lights work fine no errors. That’s all I care about.

Looks just like the OEM
This part OEM cost $400+ from dealership and reputable online auto parts suppliers. I was skeptical however after reading the reviews I pulled the trigger. From this seller and TMS unit.I had no DTRL and an error message for additive headlight malfunction and the occasional left turn signal malfunction. Installation is beginner/intermediate level and there are good videos on line. I will say taking the front tire off to access the panel to remove the TMS module. Made this job a lot easier and didn't take more than 20 minutes.I was expecting some coding after installation however all my error messages disappeared and my DTRL (angel eyes) is working. So far so good for now. I hope this will continue to work this well for some time.

Works in my 2012 F10 -with coding
Update: well after several months the DRL stoped working. No error codes, just no angel eye so I need to downgrade my original review.Just wanted to note for others looking at this module instead of the expensive BMW original part, it does fully function in my 2012 535i (F10) xenon adaptive headlights…and it did need to be initialized/coded by my Indy shop. Without the the coding the DRL worked but not the adaptive/vertical aim functions and an error was still present. I read on a forum that coding may only work on pre-LCI models so consider that. Also note that the DRL is noticeably dimmer than the OEM, but at this price, I should have replaced even my functional module just to have them at the same brightness. Not a big deal, the only issue I had.

Worked on 2012 BMW 535i.
Condensation impacted my TMS unit/connection. Well worth replacing. It's hard to remove the right T20. My garage charged only $30 when I had an oil change to replace it. They also reinitialized it with the Autel tool for free - necessary for the adaptive headlight aiming. The dealer wanted $3000 for the headlight. $60 fix is a miracle.
