I bought eight of these units and only four of them worked. What was broken? The bulbs could not be inserted and I broke one before I gave up. So now I need to send four of them back and wait for the return, but when they get here, if the 50% usable number holds, I will probably have to send two of those four back, and then one of the two for a third round. If I didn't need a flush mount, I would go with something else...but these are cheap and now we both know why.

While the lights look great and were easy to install, several of the lightbulbs broke while trying to put them in the fixture and had to be replaced.After one year, nearly all of the original bulbs have burned out. Luckily, they are easy to replace, and the replacement bulbs go in easier than the original ones. I find a little filing of the prongs with a nail file helps the original ones to go in easier.

Cheap and easy to set up I used this with a special order light to put a porch light in. Much cheaper than hiring an electrician to run a regular voltage light.
