Excellent germination and great taste.
Planted these on Mother's Day 2022, harvested the lot August 1st. Had 100% germination. These grow a little slower than I had anticipated but the plants were very healthy, trouble free, very easy to grow and very productive. Excellent tasting as cooked fresh lima bean and as fresh frozen lima bean. Did not allow beans to dry and try cooking but I have to guess they would be great that way also.

Great product. Great germ rate. Great way to help the children.
These beautiful seeds have never let me down. They showed up quickly, packaged securely (but not over-packaged that's always frustrating) It gets better from there... Not only have I experienced a 100% germ rate (so far), and I get to watch my garden thrive which makes me feel oh so good... I got a bonus feel-good moment! I had no idea this company sponsors children. Right now through Child Fund and Compassion International, they are educating 80 kids a month and supply food and clean drinking water. These are more than enough reasons for me to be loyal to Seed Needs above others. Quality product, and helping children. Good stuff.

Low Germination Rate
I bought these for a school project. Four other classes were doing the same project, with the same materials, temperature, sun exposure, etc, but the teachers bought their own bean seeds. My class's seeds sprouted the least. Out of 22 seeds planted, only 5 sprouted. It was a bummer.

Beans for everyone
I live in North Florida and these beans thrive well I had 2 crops by planting these sends 8-10 weeks apart. Of course in north Florida we were able to plant in early March this year and then in April I set out another row. Great production. I would say extremely high success rate on seeds coming up, no issue there whatsoever. Beans taste good already harvested and cooked and frozen for this season. That was completed in May. The ones I planted later will be eaten daily from the garden to the table in a couple of weeks Enjoy planting everyone

0% Germination Rate
I bought these butter beans because of the fast shipping Amazon provides. Unfortunately not a single seed sprouted. The picture is after 3 weeks(21 days) of planting. Before you assume that my soil or watering was not correct, I also planted other plants at the same time with the same quality soil and they sprouted just fine. Total waste of money, the seed package said they were within date. Maybe Amazon didn’t store them properly, who knows. I have learned my lesson.
