Ancient alien technology
I decided I needed a patty maker about a year ago, so I picked up the first one I saw at a box store. It was a single patty version. It was crap. I gave it to goodwill and don't even remember what brand it was. So I got another one from the grilling section of another box store. It was about $20 and claimed to be able to make three different sizes of patty. It, too, only made one at a time. It, too was junk. It, too wound up at goodwill. Determined, I got online to research myself up the best patty maker in existence. And I found it! A big ol' complicated contraption that cost me over $30 after tax and shipping. Made by the Weber grill people, no less! This one had to work. It did not. It was big and complicated... but it only made one patty at a time... and it was a pain in the ass to use... and it was annoying that I paid that much for plastic. It is in the box of stuff that will go to goodwill soon. One evening I was watching a cooking show on YouTube. The guy was explaining how to make many patties quickly in advance of a big BBQ. He brought out something like this that he bought from an infomercial "in the 70s". He as still using it! And then I remembered my own mother using one of these when I was five or six, in the late 70s. Do you know that in all prior searches, twice at a store and once on the internet, I had never seen one of these? Apparently stores don't carry anything like this anymore. And, apparently, the internet is so overrun with useless plastic crap that you will not find what you are looking for unless you know exactly what to call it. Because I did not see this in the first three pages of the Google search that led me to failure number three above, but when I actually knew the name of the thing it came right up on amazon. It's cheap and it works. It could be improved... easily, actually. A simple design change could make it far easier to remove than patties, for instance. But it's cheap and it works. For those wondering: the patties are about 5" in diameter, you make them any size you want, and it will make over two pounds of them per load.

Best there is! User friendly and great for meal prep.
By far the best hamburger food prep product out there. Easy to use and clean. The best things about this product are the ability to make multiple patties at once and the non-stick plates for patty separation! My only note for improvement is that the plastic piece that lifts the burgers is flimsy and difficult for my hands to spread the width of the grasp. I think making this product out of stainless steel would be a great improvement! I do work about the plastic holding up over time. Again, best I have found on the market! Improvements would only increase satisfaction further.

Perfect for picnic or camping
Pros: Works as advertised. Ability to store patty's in press is a really nice feature. Inserts have grooves to put markings on patty's. Easy pull out feature means no patty's stuck on the bottom. Cons: It's a little challenging to get level patty's. Sometimes they come out lopsided, but it could just be me. Recommendation: I really enjoy this product and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good burger press. It seconds as a storage container so you can store the patty's for later (ie. Picnic), which is super handy.

Not The Best For Me, But Awesome Customer Service!
Update 9-12-2024: I wanted to give an update, Seth from Fryoil Saver Saver Company reached out to me about my refund. I explained to him I already received a refund from Amazon, but he offered to get me a different press, even if it wasn't theirs. I found one, sent him the info and he had it sent to me free of charge within 48 ours, and it wasn't one of the ones they sell. THAT IS A 10 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I haven't been treated that well for something I bought in 20 years! Thank you Seth and your team. I want to state for the record, this press may work for other, having arthritus, it is hard for me to evenly press down to make the even patties, the storage feature for the patties is pretty cool, and the product is well made, it just wasn't right for me. Again thank you Seth for your follow up and great customer service. I bought this because I like to make my own patties, and having arthritis, it is getting harder to make a large amount of patties for our cookouts. I did a lot of research and settled on this. I started with 10 pounds of ground beef, added my seasonings, mixed it and broke it down to 5 ounce balls to put in the press. Although it does make patties, the issue I had was, when pressing down, unless you are pressing the exactly, the plastic handle, shifts and you are left with patties that are thicker on one half and thinner on the other half. No matter how much I tried to adjust the pressure it still came out the same. I did like that you could make 6-8 patties at a time, but found out after using that there was no consistently. I ended up sending mine back. It does what it says, but just not well. I guess the search will continue.

Game changer for making patties at home
Easy to use. Perfect size. I like to blend bell peppers and mix it with ground turkey for a healthier choice. The dividing disks are great, but I also insert round 4.5 inch wax paper on each side of each patty for easy removal. I prefer to freeze the patties raw while they're in the molding container to retain the shape and cook them as needed. Overall, great buy.

The only burger press we've liked so far

My wife has wanted one of these for a long time. Very easy to use and to clean. Found out that if you use it directly from the freezer only 20 seconds in the microwave will allow you to slip the frozen patties from the case. Then used a knife to separate the patties from the separate disks. Easy.

This product was so easy to work with. It created perfect round patties. I would recommend buying it.

Used to make 190 Moose/pork burgers the first day it came. Found the meat was starting to stick to plates, so after each batch of 20 I would wash up the whole system and do the next batch. Used a 1/2 cup dry measure to get 8 burgers at a time. Mixed 75 % moose to 25% Pork. 6 lb batch of meat with spices mixed in resulted in the 20 burgers. Bought the papers for outside and in between the patties and vacuum packed in packages of 4.

Using the product was great and very simple to use, but I find the plastic is too fragile, especially around the edge where the lid goes. On my first use, part of it broke off with barely any effort. I had to repair it with crazy glue for my second use, and I doubt that'll hold for long. If you want something cheap and quick, I'd recommend this, but don't expect it to last long
