Audio-Technica AT2005USB Microphone Pack w/ATH-M20x, Boom & Mini-USB Cable

Mic sounds good. Dynamic mic so is great at keeping keyboard sounds minimal if you're streaming. I've read some reviews stating the mic is noisy from being bumped etc, sure this is true but not a issue as a streaming/stationary mic.Arm is more than sturdy enough. The pivots can be tightened (For those of you saying that the arm is too weak, please learn basic tools and fasteners, the pivots are designed to be able to be tightened and loosened as you wish) if needed as they are simple hex nuts. Clamp stays put. What more can you ask for from a boom arm.Headphones sound fine. Keep in mind the price of this entire package and don't compare it to a set of $200 headphones.All in all 5 stars, as long as it lasts. If I have issues with durability I'll come back to update.

I’ve been dabbling with recording and sound engineering and wanted a microphone that was good quality but wouldn’t break the bank. After trying several other microphones I was super disappointed with their poor sound quality and connectivity issues. After a few months of research I found this Mic set and I am so glad I did! The sound quality is so clear and professional. My Mac recognized the mic immediately so set up was a breeze. I also like that this microphone came with extras (everything you need to get started). I am very happy with the value of this microphone and look forward to recording more soon!

I don't know much about audio equipment but I will say while recording with this microphone it is very good at canceling out noise around you and focuses on your voice. here are some simple pros and consPros:- Very good audio quality even on USB-interface- Very good isolation- it really cancels out noise around you and focuses on you- The mic itself has some nice seemingly high quality material its made of- its not made of plastic.- (If you get the bundle) Comes with a mic-arm and headset which the headset seems pretty good as well and can be very easy to set up- great for traveling with a laptop.- Can make a great travel mic for a quick solution due it to being quite plug-in-playCons:- (for bundle)Mic arm it comes with is uh.. seriviceable at best- its not very good but it gets the job done its made of cheap materials and lacks adjustments.- Get yourself a pop filter or something similar this mic needs it- One major negative I can think of is for some reason.. when I plug this into my computer had it all set up and then restart my computer while this is set as the primary mic- it wont work and I have to unplug and plug it back in again. This is avoided by first turning off the mic and not setting it as a primary mic before restarting or shutting off the computer. Weird problem but it is a problem I ran into- its odd.- It uses USB-type B mini- this is a horrible choice and does not survive much plug cycles, don't make a habit of unplugging and repluging from the mic itself- go for the type-A end of the cable if you have too. Unfortunate but minor issue.What its for in my opinion:- Voice over work < mostly this- Youtube recording- Podcasts and livestreaming (if you're ok with a mic in your face. if not go elsewhere)Over all I like it its a great mic and it was worth the money especially on the sale I got it. First mic ever and this bundle also comes with such quality headphones. Just take proper care of it, and it would do an amazing job. If you are looking for a first mic, this arm, mic and headphones would let you amazed. I certify that you WILL love them. The only thing is, I would buy one of the Foam Windscreen as well, I also tried the pop filters but they do not work as good for me.

Good Mic for podcasting. Works well and sounds great.

Picked this up for my radio theater (voice acting) on the advice of my producer. After a few test runs, we were so impressed with the sound quality. It picks up the vocals wonderfully, and does a pretty decent job of filtering out most background noises, althougha mic cover helps with that. The kit was missing a connector for the arm and mic stand, but we got it figured out.Absolutely recommended this set up.

I like the mic, but overall for what I paid, it's a little quiet. The sound quality itself sounds good. But sometimes when doing podcast, unless I'm right up on top of the microphone, the sound playback is too low, and I need to edit the video to increase sound.

I set this up tonight to use with Discord for a gaming session. Sound quality was apparently good when I spoke very close to the mic. I was hard to hear if I was not "eating the mic." I initially did not find the insert to fit the mic holder to the boom, which was annoying. The headset also has an adaptor over the jack which was not immediately obvious. A simple parts list included would have helped avoid these frustrations. The accessories are cheap, but the mic itself seems well made. Hopefully for home use it all will hold up.
