French Way with Design

I'm enjoying checking out the great photos in this book onFrench decor. Recommend if you are interested in that.

This is a great book on French design. You might not live in a chateau but you can get great advice for your own home. Great photos also.

I was very disappointed to realize that this fairly expensive book was almost a duplicate of a previous book by the same author. So much so that it seemed as if a cut and paste had been done. So if you buy one, do not waste your money on another. I wish I had not.

Each mesmerizing page transports you to the beauty that is France.

Enjoying it

The book is used as advertised, but was not in good condition

I loved Betty Lou's previous books on French design and was so excited to purchase this one. "There is a new look emerging in Paris apartments..." What a disappointment. All I saw was page after page of neutral "cream, mushroom and biscuit" colored rooms. There were photos of a couple different bedrooms, both with the same color scheme: cream and pale blue. Yes, many of the rooms were pretty and sophisticated. It wasn't that they weren't well done, it was just that the same look was done over and over again. Is this really the only look inspiring French design these days?

Very pretty pictures and a nice coffee table book.
