This game has a nice case which makes it easy to store and carry. It’s easy to assemble and can be played indoor and outdoors. The directions say to keep it dry. Two players or two groups of players take turns inserting the plastic pucks in the top seven slots. The object of the game is to get 4-in-a-row either vertically, horizontally or diagonally. It’s a strategic game in that you not only try to get 4-in-a-row, but you also need to block your opponent from getting 4-in-a-row. The instructions say it’s for ages 8+. My husband and I played it as soon as we received it and really enjoyed it. I then had 4 kids playing it ages 9, 6, 6, and 4. Although the 9 year was the only one that really understood the game, they all had fun. I think with practice and coaching, younger kids could get the hang of it. This is a great game for parties, tailgating, cookouts, the beach (as long as you don’t get it wet), etc.

So, I got this to add to my tailgate game collection. It's a solid addition. It came with a nice carrying bag, which I wasn't even thinking about but was thrilled to see. It zips on 3 sides so it is easy to use. Also, this game doesn't take up as much space or involve thrown objects like cornhole does. Plus it involves some minor thinking. It's great for all ages- I entertained myself giving it a test run with both sets of discs. Didn't even need an opponent...If you are getting this as a surprise, note that the shipping box says Connect 4 on the outside.It was easy to unpack. The carry bag has 2 exterior pockets to hold the legs. I looked at the instructions, but it was pretty much idiot-proof to assemble.I did add a gallon size plastic zip bag to hold the discs though. Fits into the carry bag just fine- you know how some of them are so snug iit's struggle to use? This one has plenty of space. The discs will overlap and get stuck on each other if you don't have the bottom support on and try to just store them in the board. So don't do that. You just have to poke them a little to loosen them if they get stuck.I liked the sturdy wooden construction of this item. It's not cheapo looking. I would rather spend a little more and have something that is of nicer quality.Recommended. This will be a hit at tailgates and outdoor parties.

Great product! I absolutely love the “big versions” of the classic games that have been coming out recently. Had a Jenga, and came across this and was just as excited. Great addition as a outdoor picnic/party game.Construction is fairly solid, and legs come off easily to transport/put away (in included bag). Even my 2-year old has loved running around dropping the “coins” in the slots with me. Highly recommend!

It's a huge connect 4, what makes it even more fun. Even my 2 year old granddaughter loved piling up the chips then removing the bottom bar and see all chips drop. The carrying case, an added unexpected benefit.

If you are thinking of getting this product don’t waste your money. You can’t even play with it. Easy to assemble but when it comes time to play with it, it seems the coins were made too thin or the wholes are too wide. The coins to not stay one above the other. Once the first person put the coin on a row if the second player puts there coin on the same row so it can stay above the first coin it doesn’t. The coin actually slide behind the other coins. I called amazon they sent me a replacement. It did the exact same thing. I sent them both back and got my money back. Amazon customer service was great.

The pieces get stuck and sometimes fall through before we’re ready to clear the game. It’s really fun when it works properly.

Bought to use as a game at an event. Awesome, everyone enjoyed. fun activity. Game time was wonderful. purchased for a mini carnival for my students. They loved it.

This game was used for my grand daughters sleep over. The kids enjoyed playing the game the only problem I had was , it was delivered Defective. The bottom bar was chipped and because it’s made of wood I had to put tape on it so that the kids wouldn’t get hurt.
