HAVE A LITTLE FAITH (A FORMAT)

I've been reading a lot of Mitch Albom. The teacher-student relationship and conversations make you feel elated, a little wiser and genuinely loved and loving. I was suggested to read these by my teacher, Richa mam and oh god, it's like her speaking to me everytime I read these books. I mean Mitch Alboms. It makes you look at love, faith, life, happiness in a different way altogether. It makes you believe in things that you might now believe in. It gives your heart a little more faith to rely upon. To love a little more, to be in bliss in general. I've got not enough words but then its worth a read or twice or thrice or just a little less than an infinite. You see life's too short to not read nice books. And this one is one of nicest so far.

At a time we all are seeking some hope and faith,this book forces you to believe and truly have faith. It will make you fall in love with hope.

Mitch always reminds the life we live, what we're missing to notice and he has done this perfectly written this with the same pitch. Mitch books are good teachers.

Mitch album... I found you with Tuesday with Morrie. After the completion of that, till this minute unable to recover from the feel that you thrown over me. In the same way this i Too a great one.

This is such a great book. It deals with two priests, one a rabbi and the other a pastor. It's about how Mitch, himself a Jew, comes across these two fellows and how is faith gets nourished and nurtured by them. What struck me was Mitch's prose. Usually such kind of books are not too well written. This work however, is written with such amazing grace, it feels like an engaging novel. Sweet, simple, effortless writing. I cried many times reading this....sure you guys wld too..

Mitch's books are always thought provoking.It will make you think about your actions and how you live your life and what are the things that really matter....

It was a good book but not extraordinary. My mind kept going to the "Tuesdays with Morrie" and I couldn't resist but compare. The latter one is much better. I somehow could connect to this book.

Do not think twice buy this book

This is a lovely book. Short, easy to read and inspiring. Many stories in the book will stay with me for a long time.

Tuesdays with MorrieのAlbert Lewis版に置き換えたノンフィクションです。 Mitch AlbomにはやはりNon fictionを書いてほしいと思わせる良い作品です。 Eulogyとは、お葬式で死者に対して生前の人物と業績への賛辞を語ることです。 この本は、Albert Lewis牧師から「eulogy」を依頼されて(2000年当時82歳）から、 牧師（本の中ではRebと呼んでいる)が亡くなるまで(2008年、90歳）のAlbertとMitchの 会話が、骨格です。Morrieの会話が重なってイメージされました。 もう一人の登場人物が、Henry Covington。 彼は典型的なチンピラで悪いことをやりほうだいの人物ですが やがて教会でHomelessの支援を行います。 Morrieには「死ぬということはどういうことか？」と質問したように、 Albertには「神を信じると言うことはどういうことなのか？」を、素朴に 質問するようになります。 Why do bad things happen to good people? (P80) But so many people wage wars in God's name.(?) (P91) 心のヒーリングに関する本や、成功物語の本は沢山出版されていますが、 それ以上に癒される本です。 特に、Tuesdays with Morrieに共感した読者に対しては癒す作用が 強く働くと思いました。 もちろん、最後に6ページにわたるEulogyが記述されています。

We transport between two cultures, two faiths two men of God . And find that though they do not preach to us, God is shown living through and with them.

This book, in my opinion, is a must read. It was well written, educational, spiritual, inspiring, entertaining and engaging. Realistic and heartwarming from start to finish.
