Adventures in Odyssey Gold: The Lost Episodes

These are a collection of early episodes of Odyssey episodes that were not released in any album for various reasons. Some were a little too serious such as one on abortion , others were not up to quality of the rest of the show and others were simply lacking in the same charm. I actually enjoyed these as much as those on regular albums although I can understand why some were not previously released and other times it seems a bit of a shame. One episode "no stupid questions" I absolutely love. Another about a mystery train was so bad it was good. Some of these episodes although not up to usual standards dealt with themes that honestly need to be addressed such as pregnancy and it's affect on siblings and Halloween that could be addressed again. Ironically it's surprising how good what they view as their worst actually are.

This was so great to find. It had many episodes that I heard growing up. Unfortunately a few episodes are still lost for was sounds like forever. But ones like the dental dilemma were awesome to hear again, and to be able to share with my kids.

These weren't quite as exciting as I was hoping for. :-/ I have been listening to AIO since I was 8, and still have an obsession for them. So I was so excited to hear episodes that I'd never heard before! Well ... the entire first CD was very boring to me, and I actually stopped listening to them halfway through. BUT, there is a silver lining! The next 3 CDs were delightful, and packed full of all the "normal" Whit's End characters. So although I wasn't impressed with the first CD, the last 3 made the purchase worth it.

Adventures in Odyssey has long been one of my favorite audio dramas. The acting is superb and the messages quite relevant. Though I was at first skeptical of The Lost Episodes, seeing as the episodes themselves are nearly 20 years old, I was pleasantly surprised to find them as enjoyable and entertaining as some of the more recent episodes, and would highly recommend this product. It is a fabulous set and a wonderful series.

My daughter, myself and my husband all love listening to Adventures in Odyssey! We are missionaries and we listen to them in the states and on the field. This CD, the Lost Episodes, through from an earlier time in the program, was very good, and we enjoyed it very much!

This is great I love anything that is Adventures in Odyssey and this is an especially fun one if you have been listening to Odyssey for awhile.

My kids have been falling asleep to Adventures in Odyssey for years. He was given some money from his grandparents for an album of his choice. He chose this one because it was 7 hours long and a great value!
