Seems pretty rugged, but that tiny screw though
Perfect fit for one of the handles on the side “windoors” on my ARE truck topper, be careful with that cheesy lil screw though! I don’t think it’d handle over tightening very well!

The Screw is Useless
Like the others, I have to say the screw is almost useless. Instead of using it as a screw, I used it to gently hold the latch in place will I added epoxy.

Fixed handle on Aluma MCT trailer lid.
This was purchased to replace a part that was "fixed" by the previous owner. Fit perfectly on a Tri/Mark locking t-handle.

Thin Material, Too Short, Tiny Screw
These are marketed as being 2.75 inches long. That is the OVERALL length, the actual length from the center of the shaft to the tip is 2.375". The material is fairly thin (0.076"), and the screw is an M# and is downright wimpy. Compare this (the gold one in my pics) to the competition available on Amazon (the silver one), which is much thicker (0.116") and longer (2.93" overall) and has an 8-32 screw. They're also only available in one "gender", whereas the competition has a "left" and a "right".

Good enough
Pretty cheap quality, but it worked fine. Not a bad value for the price.

Good lock tab
This tab is better than the OEM. I did change the set screw to a stainless allen head screw. This is so I can tighten it better. Also, with this type of hardware I used blue loctite to hold the set screw better. I also drilled a hole in the post so the set screw goes into the post. Then again, I'm a suspenders and a belt kind of guy.

Good replacement
These fit my truck canopy just fine. The screws that hold the unit on seemed pretty small to me so before I installed them I drilled and tapped them to take a #10 x 32 screw. I was able to tighten the screw down quite tightly and everything seems to be holding just fine so far. I would definitely buy these again if I had the need. These seem plenty strong for what I needed them to do. Hold my truck canopy closed.

Easy
How difficult can they be?

Ordered 2, only one of them had a screw.
They fit a 5/16” bar, are are a perfect replacement. But I ordered 2 pieces and only one of them had the screw, it’s useless without that.I guess I’m off to the hardware store. I need to install it today so I’m not going to wait for a return.

Why are these so expensive?
This was just what I ordered. No problem. I thought they’d be easy to find but they ARE NOT! Dang. So, I ordered these and paid far more than I expected to. I can’t weld a set for cheaper than this myself, so here we are. These are good. They ship quick. No hassles
