great alternative to Wix or the OEM Mini/BMW.
This works as expected in my Mini as an alternative for the OEM (US) with the zig zag shape. It comes with the o ring and is made in Germany. The build seems more robust than the OEM so i unlikely to buckle under heavy use triggering the bypass valve.

Better than MINI purolex filters
It is officially the only filter I recommend others use in their german vehicles! I used to buy strictly OEM filters until I stumbled upon the MANN filters and how reliable and cost effective they are. I did extensive research and found that the actual ability to filter is higher in these filters than OEM. Plus at half the cost of OEM it's a win-win!

Different Filters for the 2007 Mini Cooper S
This filter fits the 2007 Mini Cooper S Coupe. For the 2007 S Convertible use HU 816/2X Both are excellent filters but... for different cars. Unfortunely most parts books just list the later which is bigger and if you buy from parts houses... 4 times as much as the 711/51.

Right Filter, Excellent Price
This is the correct oil filter at an excellent price. Its twice as much at the stores if they even have it.Tips:You will need to move the coolant overflow bottle.You will also want a rag under the filter housing when you pull it out, you will leak oil in this removal process.

Mann Filter + TDI +Synthetic Oil = LONG LIFE for your Vehicle
I've always used the Mann Filter, and I've ALWAYS been pleased. It comes with the proper o rings for my TDI, and fits perfectly. My car has almost a quarter million miles, and I expect to get that much more. Thanks, MANN filter company for a great product.

Perfect fit 2012 mini cooper countryman.
Fits my 2012 mini cooper countryman great and is exactly what I would by at the dealer but at a lower price. Beats driving out of town to pick up a filter
