Best. Cat food. Ever.
Even after the good reviews I wasn't sure if I believed the hype but I had two morbidly obese cats so I thought, "what the heck, why not?"Before I can give a decent review I have to explain my cats previous diets.... or lack there of. We were all about Purina indoor cat. We had to keep food down all the time because if we didn't the cats would eat random objects. As you can imagine this lead to many vet bills. We tried so many weight loss foods I can even remember their names but it was always the same thing..... no success. The cats still had to have food down all the time because nothing filled them up. Some brands they wouldn't eat at all. Period. Now (2 months later) with Natural Choice I feed my cats small meals 3 times daily and I can believe all the change I have seen in them. Right off the bat I knew something was different. They weren't eating random objects between meals! I couldn't believe it. Within two weeks their coats improved. I hadn't even known that could happen! Their coats had been coarse and had to be brushed daily. Now it is soooo soft and we have to brush weekly! Their skin is better and the litter box is more manageable. I will be honest, the weight loss has been different for both cats. One cat has lost so much weight he looks like a new cat! everyone that comes over mentions it. He seems like a kitten again with the way that he plays. My other cat has lost some weight and seems healthier. He doesn't just sleep all day. It is still early so hopefully in a few more moths he will have some more results. We will never use another cat food!

My cats love this food, but are satisfied and don't overeat
My cats love this food, but are satisfied and don't overeat. They are slightly overweight and are not likely to loose weight, but also don’t seem to gain on it either. I work odd hours and it is import to allow for free feeding without worrying about obesity and this allows for that. They seem to be satisfied by eating less than they do with some others, so it can be left available without being so disgusting that they wont touch it, or so delicious they eat it all at once and get sick or run out.

Only food that helped my cat
We are an all Nutro cat food household now. Their hairball formula dry food is the only one after trying 4 different 'high-end' foods that helped one of my cats' newfound vomiting problem. After the vet couldn't find anything wrong with him and suggesting it's most likely hairballs, even though I didn't see the obvious hairballs coming up, he was exactly right. After switching him to Nutro's hairball formula, he hasn't thrown up more than maybe 2 times in the last year he's been on it. Nutro's weight management dry cat food is also the only food that has helped my other kitty lose weight successfully (slowly and steadily)-- 6 months of prescription food didn't even help her. So naturally I switched the remaining 4 kitties over to Nutro's indoor formula and they love it and I have been extremely pleased. I wish I could find coupons for them, or see if they ever run discounted prices, but their food is definitely worth the price. I have found that Amazon is always the cheapest for this food plus you can't beat the free 2-day shipping.

Cat crack!
Not sure what it is about this food, but our cat immediately took to it. I guess he's happy with the flavor, but more importantly it seems to satisfy him on a deeper level than any other food he's had before. No more whining and crying for more after I feed him (no matter how much I fed him). I give him JUST the recommended daily amount, which is less than what I was giving him with the other food, and he is SATED. Just fed him a while ago and he looks like he's in a coma, contentedly sleeping away. He's happy, I'm happy, now hoping the weight actually comes off. If it does (will know in a few months I guess) then I would rate this five stars, and totally worth every penny!

Happy and thinner kitty
I have been trying to find a good lower calorie food for my cat for years. At 19.4lbs, the vet said to aim for 15lb. Problem is, my cat has had food sensitivities from the time she was a kitten and would throw up whenever I tried the brands the vet would recommend (no matter how slow I introduced it into her diet). We believe she is allergic to corn which is in near ALL the diet cat foods. Because of her sensitivities, we had previously been feeding her grain free not realizing it's very high in calories (roughly 438/cup). Hence the weight problem... The only low cal cat food we could find without corn was Blue buffalo weight control, which at 346 cal/cup was still higher than the brands the veterinarian recommended.Well, 3 months ago I started feeding her Nutro and she's almost lost 2 lbs! She likes it, it doesn't make her vomit, and because it's so much lower in calories (283/cup) I can feed her a slightly bigger daily portion size (her favorite part!).Only thing negative I have to say is stay away from the 14lb bag unless you have multiple cats. With one cat, before you get to finishing the bag it tends to go stale. Wish I would have thought of that, but oh well, live and learn.

Cats love it and lost weight
I have 2 cats that were starting to look a bit chunky because they aren't very active. They had been eating another Nutro food, and I decided to mix it with this lower calorie food. They eagerly ate it despite the different flavor (previously had only bought fish flavored food), so I decided to switch to just this. They still eagerly eat it when served, and they have definitely lost weight. Their skin and fur still look healthy, and I feel better giving a normal portion of this food than trying to decrease the old food

Weight management food
I started my cat on this weight management food a few months back because the vet weighed him at 21.8 lbs. He's doing well on it, but I know it will get him down to a normal weight.
