These drives (the V series) are fast and nicely priced. I've also found them to be reliable too, Crucially (no other brand implied) much more so than my previous favourites. Yes they are more expensive unlessI have had to return one, which was a good experience. Advance replacement sent from integral, based in London. No one hopes stuff fails, but it does and its not until then you find out what a PITA it can be. I buy integral drives most of the time because the returns procedure is excellent.

Bought through Prime so even in all this current madness it turned up the next day!Easy to install, good value for the money, Windows boots up in a fraction of the time it did using a high RPM HDD, no issues whats so ever.Brilliant!Will be buying more of these when I upgrade all my other machines or when another HDD fails.

Good performance and price. Well worth considering as an upgrade for speeding up boot times and performance. You will definitely notice the improvement. I would have given this product 5 stars but for one small point. Integral does not provide any monitoring software and maintenance tools for their drives. Probably not an issue but other manufacturers seem to provide more obvious support tools including TRIM and remaining service life. Probably a minor issue as I had no problems installing the drive and have no reason to believe the drive will not work well in the long term. However, I believe TRIM to be the SSD equivalent of defragging the drive and so conventional defrag tools should not be used with these drives.

If you are after a SSD you can not go wrong with this. Great speeds on benchmark tests and you can notice a massive difference if upgrading from a HHD. Why pay more than you need to.Ive installed two of these in a new build and my PC boots up in 10 secs. Shutting down takes about 5 seconds.I would definately recommened these for a gaming system or a home user. I think it would handle everything aswell in a office enviroment.Does not come with Sata lead so you will have to get one if you havent any laying around.

A reasonably specified laptop containing a 240GB hard drive would cost you at least £400 at the moment. If you've got an older machine with a mechanical hard disk and it's beginning to slow down to a crawl, before you get rid of it and buy a new machine give some serious thought to having your laptop upgraded instead. Quite often all that's required to bring it up to speed is a new faster solid state drive such as this one. There are plenty of tutorials on the internet telling you how it's done, there are even videos showing you step by step.This SSD is one of the faster ones on the market, and the price is right. It comes with an adapter which you can stick on the back if you find that your laptop is intended to be used with a thicker drive. I've upgraded lots of machines over the years, but in this case it was placed into a five year old Toshiba containing a ridiculously underpowered Celeron processor. After installing this and an extra 4GB of RAM the boot time was reduced from 2:30 seconds to under 30 seconds. Programs all start up much, much faster as well.Worth every penny.

Easy to set up I replaced my laptop main drive for it. But I must admit I wasnt expecting the performance out of this little.budget branded drive but wow. Windows load went from 23 seconds to 6 seconds ( to login screen windows 10 pro) . Have had no issues obviously being small capacity it is really only good for a os drive. But I have stress tested it and have not had any reliability issues and stays a constant performance.

I have an old Dell Latitude laptop, decent spec with an i5 processor and 8GB of ram, but it was a bit tired, so I bought this 240GB SSD drive and installed it. I used Macrium Reflect to clone the old harddrive straight to this new SSD. Took 40 minutes, then five minutes to swap the drives out, and it works sweet as a nut. Now it boots up in about 20 seconds, and all the programs just fly. I paid less than thirty quid for this, so I'm well happy.
