Will Shortz Presents Trickiest Sudoku

I have tried many sudoku books over the years and I stick with Will Shortz now.

Great selection of puzzles

I started buying Shortz Sudoku books when I read an Amazon reviewer say that Will Shortz are her husband's favorite. Now they are my husband's favorite. We have searched at bookstores for sudoku books and never bought any of them because they were all too easy.This is the right level for my husband. He treasures his sudoku time in the morning and says when the puzzles are too easy they just aren't fun. If they are too difficult, he gets frustrated. But this has te right amount of Brain exercise for him.

As always the challenge begins. Sounds like this book could be a year long experience.

I was thinking these would be more difficult than Will Shortz's other books of sudoku, but they're about the same. Which isn't bad. They are a challenge. It's funny though - I find that the puzzles at the end of the book labeled "Beware! Every Challenging" are actually easier than the ones labeled "Demanding". But that's the case with other Will Shortz books too.

I got this book for Christmas and it's only the middle of January. I usually start these books at the beginning and work my way through playing one puzzle a day - so far I'm still in the first phase "Demanding" and have loved the puzzles! I'm sure the next phase will begin to tax my brain even more!

Addicted to Sudoku. At 70, I find different ways to exercise my brain, and Sudoku is one of them. I hate buying magazines and having to throw away the easy and medium puzzles. Love having these that start with difficult and then get harder!

Interesting, challenging puzzles. Love the large print.
