This statue is large and looks great in my yard. It is lightweight and easy to move, but not so light that it is knocked over by the wind. If you plan to put it out in the elements, I would highly recommend sealing it with some clear spray paint to avoid any paint chipping.Similar statues cost two or three times the price, so I am very pleased with my purchase.

Nice statue for my garden. Light worked right away but I do not use it. I coated the statue with Helmsman spray to protect it from the elements and it gives the statue a nice shiny quality. Like another reviewer said, I velcroed it to the small outdoor table it is on so that wind doesn't blow it off. I am very pleased with this statue, and I much prefer it to a heavy, cement one that will crack in cold weather, though I intend to take it in for the winter.

Loved the buddha - very pretty and the quality cannot be beat for the price. Perfect for outside.I wish the solar lamp worked ! On/off switch is terrible...cannot identify if on or off..had to try it a few days to see if lamp came on.It did, but stayed on for a few seconds only.Love the sculpture -- it would be perfect with a solar lamp that works.

We got the Buddha figurine only a week ago but so far it looks great in our garden. The finish looks very natural like ceramic but it is lightweight poly resin! Before placing it outdoors ,we sprayed the clear acrylic spray as suggested in some reviews. Also,Painted the lotus a light pink color. The solar light is directed upwards towards Buddha’s face and at nights, it really shines nice and adds beauty to our garden. We are very happy with the purchase and recommend it highly.

This statue was sold thru Lamps Plus so I expected a little better quality. Statue is quite light in weight. Received via FedEx day after ordering and was packaged well, but Buddha had an area broken thru the resin by one of the feet creating a hole. Figuring it was going outside anyway, it wasn’t worth returning. The 2 areas for solar charge were not covered with a film as stated in the instructions, making me believe this unit was possibly a return. Left it out to charge all day in bright sunlight and light did come on at dusk but only lasted about an hour. My husband just likes the Buddha itself, so keeping but cannot recommend to others.

Wow, I am stunned by the absolutely horrible quality and total worthlessness of this POS. Aside from not working at all, despite numerous experiments with different batteries (original "rechargeable" battery didn't hold a charge or exhibit any sign of life whatsoever), there is absolutely no way to change the bulb (on the off chance that it would actually work), for it is cemented into the Buddha (who must be rolling in his cosmic grave over this shoddy excuse even for a Chinese product). The "solar" charging panels are ridiculous and appear merely for show, and the on/off button on the bottom is a weak toggle that could be one of the many weak links in this piece of junk. I've concluded that the "company" manufacturing these has figured out that for any customer to return this pre-destined failure would be way too much trouble and expense, and gleefully carries on selling something worth maybe .79 cents (the cast plastic Buddha is, to be fair, not unattractive, despite the gaudy-yet-worthless "solar" panels and ridiculously cemented light bulb). This is simply the biggest rip-off I've encountered in years of Amazon trials and tribulations, and I sincerely hope Amazon will nix this product out of fear of a massive class action lawsuit. In case you're unclear on whether I recommend you buy this product, don't.

My townhouse deck is enhanced by this Buddha. He gives a peaceful aura by day and a glow at night. The size is perfect and the finish detail is too. Delivery on time as promised.

Well, my Buddha doesn't look like some of the pictures featured here in the review section - but it IS the one I ordered so that's good. It's not shiny like the picture in the ad shows, but I brushed vegetable oil on it and it looks better. Not as many gold highlights as the ad picture shows - a little disappointing. The light works! So that's good, but the lotus flower is NOT painted and I don't like that at all. Looks like gray cement so I'm going to have to do something about that. For $50 I expected a little bit better quality and I expected it to look EXACTLY like it's is featured in the online ad. I am keeping it tho as it is nice size and nice looking - it is for an indoors atrium so the weather (or birds) won't harm it. It's not as heavy as I expected either so am glad I won't be putting it outside in the wind.
