When I first ordered these bulbs, i'll be honest and tell you that I wasn't expecting much out of them except maybe a little flicker effect which is common in the majority of battery operated tea candle lights that are popular at all of the dollar stores today. Then, as soon as the package came and I screwed the first bulb into the lamp socket, I was instantly transformed into a dream like state, as the bulb gave off a magical hue, as if I was looking at a minature, yet 100% real orb, that could somehow contain the heat, but release the light and visual appearance of a real fire and the accurate depiction of the flames flickering light. It was like I had my own private mini, yet magical, campfire burning away safely inside the magical bulb. Since i bought 4 of these awesome bulbs, I put the other 3 bulbs in lamps around my room and attached them all to remote controlled wall plugs, so I could sit in the middle of my room and be able to wrap myself with the light of 4 miniature balls of fire without having to do anything besides pressing the remote that was sitting on my lap in my recliner, facing my 60" 4K Smart TV. So once I picked out a movie to watch and made sure that every other light in my mini man cave was off, I used the remote to simultaneously turn on all of my fire bulbs and I was shocked by the magical effect of what it felt like to be in the center of 4 fire places or camp fires, with the beautifully mezmerizing color patterns of burning wood, that only Mother Nature could create until now. The best part about the groundbreaking technology that the creaters of these incredible bulbs thought about was providing the users to experience the amazing beauty of the colors and movements of the flickering effects of the flame that a real fire naturally gives off without having to worry about feeling the extremely dangerous heat. As a matter of fact, I personally tested one of these bulbs in order to see how long it would take for the glass to get too hot to touch. So I kept one bulb on for 24 hours straight. After running for 24 hours, I was able to grab the bulb, while still lit, unscrew it, and place it on my bed, and never felt any uncomfortable heat coming from the bulb. This is not a test that I recommend anyone else to do for obvious safety reasons. So hopefully you will take my word that these bulbs do not give off any noticeable heat, despite giving off the beautiful color arrays that are as close to what are given off in a real natural fire, except these lights are "magically" maintained and kept inside the glass of the bulb without any heat being produced, but at the same time with the mezmerizing yellow/orange flickering lighting effects, proven to reduce stress, anxiety and insomnia, along with a decrease of the affects of SAD Depression, which is "Seasonal Affect Disorder" Depression, caused by the lowered amount of sunlight during the Winter months. So if I could give these bulbs a 10 out of 5 stars for these light bulbs, I would, because I have suffered from Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Panic Attacks, "SAD", Insomnia and other negative mental disorders that I refuse to take PILLS for from "Shrinks" that supposedly "cure" you when all they do is make you feel worse. Instead I use natural alternative remedies, like taking vitamins and minerals. I've also added other natural remedies, such as aroma, audio, electro stim and light therapy. All with positive results. Then when i first saw these flame light bulbs being advertised, I was very suspicious at the claims that so many people made about the positive results that they made in their lives. So I decided to buy 4 bulbs for myself and see if they helped or were just another bottle of snakeoil. So after using them for at least 8 hours a day for the last month, I can honestly tell you that these light bulbs have made a huge improvement with my anxiety, depression, stress relief, panic attacks and insomnia. Now I recommend them to everyone I talk to if they happen to ask me how I am feeling, because these bulbs have helped me overcome all of my mental issues without going to my psychiatrist or therapist anymore, or taking the poisonous "medications" that they were prescribing me. So in closing, if just for an occasional change in the lighting atmosphere in your room, these bulbs are definitely worth the extremely low price for 2 LED light bulbs that can alter your atmosphere in a positive way whenever you feel like a temporary change.

We put these in pillars around our paver patio. They look very good at night. Good enough they still grab my eye and I still have to give a double take. It should be known that they are tall, and the glass dome that covers my water resistant socket does not properly screw on. I went on with the install because the design of the pillars offer protection from direct rain contact and am hoping for the best. First install was one front of house in outside lights but one of my neighbors said he though my house had caught fire, Funny , didn't think of that. We moved them into the pillars and it was a good choice.

These work decently. I would love to see an app to control to speed, etc of the effect. Looks good enough for an outdoor light. I tried indoor use and the light about gave me a seizure because of the speed of the flickering.

I just received 6 of these bulbs that I ordered, and 4 of them lit to beautiful "flickering flames", but the last 2 lit to a slow pulsing yellow/orange. After playing with them more I found that they appear to switch between 3 different "modes" each time power is turned off and back on:- Solid Yellow/Orange- Slow pulsing Yellow/Orange- Flickering FlamesI did not see this listed anywhere in the description, nor to I see a switch to disable this. I want them to be flickering flames every time I power them on. Does anyone have any idea on to change this, or if it is even possible?The flickering flames look GREAT, but I'm not going to rate higher than 3 starts until and unless I can figure out how to keep them in that mode ALL THE TIME.Anybody else experience this??

Buy more than you think you will want because these have the perfect light and look amazing. I replaced the lights in out chandelier with these and the room has a entirely different look and feel.

I love this bulbs! I use them in my room for the candle glow every night, safer than real candles. My Granddaughter asked me if she could have one and she uses it in her room as a nightlight. I will order this product again and again!

This bulb gives the most realistic looking flame effect I could find. Other bulbs where to yellow or to orange. This is the one you want right here for a spot on flame color and most realistic flame effect. I left a star off because one of the bulbs wont stay on the desired setting.

I saw many of these online for much more money... these were exactly what I needed and at the best price. Look no further, this is it. I am always hesitant with cheaper prices on some items, but happy I took a leap of faith with this one. Perfect product and easy to understand.
