Brilliant!!
I have recently received this wonderful DVD. I did Tai Chi for ten years but for reasons I gave it up for an equal amount of time. I have just decided, at the age of 68, to go back to it because I missed the awesome benefits of this discipline for the mind and, more importantly, the body. I'm not up for classes these days so decided to have a DVD at home and do it as and when I want to. This has to be the best made instructional video that I've come across. David is a wonderful instructor, making you want to get on with having a go! It's easy and not at all complicated, making it so nice for beginners and also us older folk. There is enough 'form' to make a great practice session and he has the rather clever way of stringing one move together with the next without you realising what he's doing and making it flow beautifully. It get's a big five stars from me! I thoroughly recommend this DVD.

Easy to follow Tai Chi
I like the routines in this DVD, but, as it is an hour long, I am disappointed that I cannot select a specific section to watch when I do not have an hour to spare.

A very effcient tool to work on your flow
With Tai Chi Fit flow David-Dorian Ross emphasizes one basic concept of Tai Chi. For him flow is the most characteristics aspect of the Tai Chi principles and therefore he developed a special teaching system to convey this continuous, harmonious and synergistic action - Flow. The 50 minutes workout can be divided into 3 parts. In the first part DDR introduces flow with some simple and basic movements (open the door, holding the moon, push, stirring up the Qi energy, sinking the Qi, descending the mountain, sweep the moon from east to west, ward off and finally grasping the sparrow’s tail). The short second part is a bit of a balance and strength challenge introducing a kick. And the third part everyone is flowing along with playing the pipa, parting the wild horses’s mane, repulsing the monkey, brush knee, single whip, snake creeps down in the grass, cloud hands, old monk chops wood, lazy monk puts his head on the pillow and ending with open up the heart. This DVD is well suited for beginners but also for more senior practitioners who want to work on their flow. DDR explains the movements well and breaks it down step by step. His teaching skills are extraordinary. He has a very humorous way of teaching and the fun is transmitting through the computer screen. As one of his students I would like to add that although his teaching style is not very traditional, his knowledge and proficiency is very profound.
