This by far is the best honeycomb I’ve had it’s sweet, but not overly sweet to where it’s overwhelming. It’s so delicious. I ate the whole thing in one sitting before I got a chance to take a picture of it.

I grew up thinking I hated honey. I always thought it was somehow both grossly sweet and pungently bitter, and I associated the taste of it with being sick and force-fed some with lemon for a sore throat. All that changed a few months ago when I tasted raw honeycomb at a restaurant and thought it was the most beautiful, angelic thing ever to grace my tastebuds. It was delicately sweet, the honeycomb melted in my mouth, and I knew then and there that I'd have to figure out some way to get more. Sadly, I couldn't just walk into my local grocer's, and driving 20 miles to the nearest apiary seemed excessive, so I checked Amazon -- and lo and behold.While the price per oz still seems kind of steep to me, it's as good as you'll find on Amazon and the taste is fantastic. I've ordered this honey twice already. I've never had a problem with the packaging. The honey is that same heavenly, mild sweetness, the honeycomb wax is pleasantly chewy and never tough, and my only real complain is that it runs out too quickly. I have mine on toasted pumpernickel bread with melted butter and spread the honeycomb on top, and it's a little bit of nirvana every morning. Yay, honeycomb!

I ordered this specific honeycomb based on the reviews. Here is my take on it,Flavor: 5/5 it is delicious. I was nervous at first because too much honey is overpowering however honeycomb oddly is not overpowering like honey. This honeycomb is not overly sweet at all. Pleasantly surprised.Packaging: 2/5 could be better. The plastic little container that it comes in is a good idea, but very messy. It's the container, with a seal around it, then a plastic bag around that.Upon opening the box I could just tell that honey had spilled out, which made the opening of the actual honeycomb so messy. I posted a picture of it but since the honey is so light you cant really tell what is going on in the photo.The wax: 4/5 I've read that you can eat it, but I chose not to. It sticks around in your mouth after the honey is gone and it's just like chewing on flavorless wax. I dont know how else to describe it. So take that how you wantSize: 3/5 you pay for what you get. In all honesty it's not a large amount of honey, wasnt expecting it to be huge, but also wasnt expecting it to be small. It was hard to check how much comes in it since I had a sticky mess all on the outside of it.

Flavor: This product has great flavor. Honey from the honeycomb just tastes so much better than the stuff in a jar. I did not notice any "smokey" taste that some other reviewers may have, but I eat a lot of smoked food so I may be slightly immune to that flavor. Very sweet and smooth flavor.Presentation: Packaged in a nice strong plastic container that is tightly sealed with security tape/label. When it arrived the container was wrapped in bubble wrap and secured closed with a sticker describing the product. Additionally, the cardboard shipping box was filled with bubble wrap and the box itself was a normal box in good condition.Value: At par with other products. Good price for how much you get and the great flavor. I would say there are about 8-10 nice servings in a container. The wax (if taking smaller bites) was also palatable, making extra substance behind the honey itself.Overall: I would purchase again and recommend. It is great by itself, but I could also see it making a beautiful addition to a cheese board for entertaining. Very sweet but very smooth, and a great addition to foods in place of simple white sugar or a great healthy dessert.

I've ordered 2 of these and I love the flavor and quality but the packaging is horrible. The honey leaks everywhere and you cannot even open it without making a sticky mess. I understand it is honey but the thin plastic container does NOT seal the honey in. My most recent order has almost NO honey at all and the honeycomb is dried out. That order was a complete waste of money since I couldn't eat it. Can't return it because I opened it. The leaking issue is so bad I am now searching for a better packaged honeycomb. This brand is delicious but the mess is not worth it.

The honey is A YEAR past the sell by date.

This honeycomb is fantastic! I've never tried it before and was very impressed. The package it comes in is easy to open, the taste is amazing. You can tell it comes straight from the bee hive. Very fresh and sweet.
