The pads stop really good. Springs are eh
These pads seem to be working better than my old Shimano pads. Probably because the bike sat for a while. The pads were a bit low. The springs that came with them don't seem to be bent properly. Probably an easy fix I just reused my Shimano springs. It actually stops really good and doesn't make any noise. Also I noticed on the back brake that there seems to be a bit of play. When I try rolling forward and back with the brake in I can feel a little play. Again no big deal. I would like to get Shimano pads once I upgrade to better rotors. But for now this is just fine they stop great! For the price I give these 5 stars

The right product fast and well packaged
The brake pads arrived quickly and were exactly what I needed / ordered. There is nothing like a fresh set of brake pads to insure your disc brakes will work smoothly when you need them!

Great braking performance for my riding style.
I really like the way these pads perform in regards to braking. Smooth, quiet, and they don’t lock up as quickly as the metal pads I was using before. Snap easily in place on the install and I can afford to have spares around at the price I paid for them. I don’t know how long they’ll last as of yet but I can get 5 sets of these vs what I was paying before.

This was great – solved my problem.
I use these to replace the dish brakes on an old mountain bike and a gravel bike. One was Shimano 105, the other one was Shimano SLX. In both cases, I noticed no performance decline.

Value! Buy ‘em, bed ‘em in, ride ‘em (squeaky, though)
Update, several rides after initial review: OK these suns o’ guns are squeakier than normal, even when dry. Even so, if they last 70% as long as Shimano pads, I will likely purchase again. I sort of feel the noise, discernible during medium-hard slowing, for downhill switchbacks, for example, can be seen as a benefit to alert others. I’m pretty used to them.Initial review:For the price ($10!), I am very satisfied with these resin brake pads. I ride a Spec Stumpjumper 29er on Colorado Front Range trails in dry to variable conditions (some snow, some mud slop).I took 5 minutes to bed my brakes—wet one set of the brakes at a time with water, get up to 15-20 mph, then brake to a near stop without locking up brakes, repeat several times; then do the same for the other set.I have put over 100 trail miles on these pads, and they are working just fine. I have heard a little more squeal from them than my last pads, but I have been riding thru some springtime snowmelt, so I am in no way concerned.Buy them, bed them in, ride them. If I notice significant deterioration or short life span, I’ll be back to update.

Definitely stop better than resin pads
Definitely reccomend for extreme use or downhill stopping power. I replaced the resin brake pads previous owner installed on the rear brakes. Sometimes they are a little noisy...butI don't care aslonh as I can effectively stop. Downhill ru s and overheating pads require these. These also have outlasted resin pads on my mountain bike. No more heat soaking and lack of stopping power.

They work but they have poor stopping power. Ok for casual rider but not for MTB decents.
